Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My helmet was full of ♥♥♥ by the end of 100%ing this game. real good.
Ignored by the most prestigious awards but backed by a strong cult following, Blasphemous was the debut game from a Spanish studio that somehow managed to create one of the best indie titles ever made. I would be tempted to call it a Metroidvania, but that definition probably fits its sequel better—which I’ll be playing soon enough, because apparently I haven’t suffered enough and intend to 100% that one as well. In terms of gameplay, level structure, the complexity of its side quests, and its overall feel, Blasphemous is essentially a 2D Souls-like. For better or worse, it might be the closest thing we have to Dark Souls in pixel art form. The story takes place in a much darker and more horrific version of Counter-Reformation Spain. I won't spend too much time explaining the plot—or the setting—but it can best be described as a dark fantasy heavily inspired by the most visceral, grotesque, and unsettling imagery of Catholicism. I honestly can't remember seeing pixel art this spectacular very often. The art direction is outstanding across the board: character designs, backgrounds, environments, and, of course, the absolutely beautiful atmospheric soundtrack. Getting 100% completion, however, was a genuine act of penance—which is fitting, considering that playthroughs in Blasphemous are literally called Penitences. First, a completely blind playthrough to finish the game. Then some post-game cleanup. After that, a second run in NG+ to unlock some of the more difficult achievements. And finally, a third playthrough, which I only had to complete halfway through in order to finish a bloody side quest with two different outcomes that cannot be obtained in a single playthrough. Despite this remarkable level of self-inflicted suffering, I loved every single second of it. Torment and Ecstasy.
A really fun metroidvania that has solid combat & Exploration and great world aesthetic with a somber tone. Would recommend if any of that is appealing to you.
