In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

BioShock 2 is a good game, but compared to the other two games in the series, it's definitely the lesser one for me. The story is good, but I wasn't nearly as captivated by Rapture this time around. A lot of it felt like it was trying to ride the success of the first game by telling a story that was just too similar. There are definitely improvements to the gameplay, but at times it just didn't feel different enough to justify another trip to Rapture. That being said, I'm glad it exists. Without BioShock 2, we probably wouldn't have gotten the third game, and that would have been a pretty sad day. Still a good game, just not one that left the same impression as the other two.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Love it! With some QOL improvements compared to the first one, a change in perspective, and a different tone to the story, this made for a great sequel.
This game IS bioshock for me. the story is endearing and sad, the gunplay is THE BEST in the series, the set design is even better than in the first one and the endings are on point, some being worse (quality wise) than others.
