In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I absolutely adore this game, but this version is literally unplayable. I played for about 3 hours, went to save and it crashed. Now it won't even start up without crashing. I've tried changing the file settings, using the mod on nexus, and everything else recommended. Unfortunately it just doesn't work.
original bioshock 2 crashes every five minutes, genuinely unplayable. havent yet had a crash in the remaster, will see how it holds up to a full playthrough

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A truly great addition to the Immersive Sim genre. Bioshock 2 is a game that, like so many sequels that are not done by their original team, doesn't rival the stakes or the novel nature of the original but hones the elements that refine the genre. A simple and straightforward adventure game, Bioshock 2 will take you through a standard multi-level progression facing off against lieutenants and making a moral choice at each stage. Being a Big Daddy, the game loses the survival horror elements of the original, supplying you with plenty of weapons and supplies that are affordable within the game economy, making the linear experience closer to a run-and-gun. Traveling from stage to stage on an underwater train is stylistically on point for the aesthetic. The streamlined nature of the game makes it a far more punchy experience than its more involved predecessors like System Shock 2. This however does not detract from Bioshock 2 as the game knows the few systems it wants and dials them in to great effect. Stacking passive Tonics and investing your time in Research, the two main ways to augment and improve your build, feel effective but take multiple levels to feel like you are actually being buffed. Recommend a quick playthrough if you haven't yet. The original multiplayer for this game was solid and a good creative take, similar to the experimental attempt at multiplayer in Dead Space 2. Both novel and worth praise.
Awesome game !! Beautiful graphics.
The first Bioshock was a masterpiece but this one I think was a failure. Infact I found it really boring. There were way too many audio files and it just broke the game flow. I assume I was about half way through and the game started crashing my computer. I thought thats it , not worth the trouble, and deleted the game.
This game is Bioshock-ingly good
Great game even better than the first. Just wish it had new game+.
noice not as good as first one tho
