In BioShock 2, you step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as you explore through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Technical aside, this game improve from before with better story and gameplay. But before you playing PLEASE install some modder patch for your sanity (i got 2 crashes before i resort to use fixes to mitigate the issue)
My absolute favorite of the series. The story and new characters used throughout the game greatly expand on the complex and wonderful world of Rapture while still retaining what made the first game so good to begin with. The dual plasmid/weapon system makes gunplay much more dynamic and improves some of the original plasmids I found either basic or underwhelming such as security bullseye or enrage/hypnotize. My only nitpick is that I wish there was a weapon/plasmid menu like the first game where I can choose my plasmid in peace without misclicking or taking to long to select it; eight plasmid slots are lot to keybind. All of the levels in this game play sort of like prequel worldbuilding to the main events depicted in Bioshock 1, and the radio play aesthetic of the audio logs are just as good! Seriously, most games tend to have collectible logs that either bland exposition or just outright suck (like Horizon Zero Dawn for example). As for Minerva's Den, it's an amazing story and packed with new content for its' small size, but there's definitely a lack of story beats in the moment but rather explained through audio logs in the past, which might make it a little underwhelming for some. However, instant amusement can be attained via spamming gravity well lol. I wish there were more "political" games that revolve around a fictional setting and challenge the player to think about its themes and nuances like Metal Gear or this. Most new games that attempt to do so cling to contemporary issues to lecture and scold about, which is about as pleasing to observe as a modern day political cartoon (ugh... just UGH!). I cannot recommend the series enough, except for Infinite which in my mind really dropped the ball in a lot of aspects except for Elizabeth until the big ending. P.S The remaster surprisingly runs more stable than the original version which I suppose makes myself quite fortunate compared to a lot of others.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Compared to Bioshock 1, this game is a complete failure. However, it is playable and relatively acceptable in terms of overall satisfaction, only if you choose to play with "god mode" enabled and navigate the game solely for the relatively enjoyable story. 2K could do much more than this...
this is literally the greatest game of all time and i mean ts
best daughter ever
perfecta secuela de la obra de arte que ya era BioShock, hoy en dia es perfectamente jugable y vale totalmente la pena
Incredible. Not quite as good as the original, but still worth it.
