Interesting take on the 4X genre. I recommend

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The game as a whole just falls kind of flat, although it has some really interesting ideas. The micro management is a bit intense and the combat feels really unsatisfying. The requirement to muster and deploy troops combined with an inability to retreat from multi-turn battles leads to something that is both dominated by churning out bulk troops for the meat grinder, but also requires a surprising amount of micro. I do like the system for provinces with names that match your empire. It's a really good idea and what sets this game apart. In a lot of ways it's much better than the traditional hexes system you see in so many other 4x's and makes it play a lot more like something akin to a Paradox map game (EU, HOI etc). All in all some clever ideas and I may check it out again in the future, but refunding for now. Since it's microsoft, probably a good title to check out on Game Pass if you have that.
Besser als Civ7
Amazing game! I am truly enjoying playing this game. You can recreate multiple real life scenarios quite easily and the AI is pretty good, I can play a single gameplay for days! On the down side, once you are more advanced, the management of the resources, despite the most recent updates, is still very slow and time consuming. Performance can also be affected quite late in the game.
Take care with system requirements - they're quite unusual. I have a mid-range Lenovo PC only 6 months old but you need a specific gaming PC to play.
A worthy competitor to Civilization. More micomanagement but that is not always a bad thing...
Unique and interesting. Civ-like management with Anno-esque supply chain mechanics. Can be quite demanding on your computer though.
The game had a rough start, but with update 2.0 it definitely lives up to its promise of a 4x focused on centrally planning an economy throughout history, instead of a map-painting simulation
Deep 4X game, lots of tech and products to craft
