14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I have 40 playing hours in the game and about the same amount of time trying to load the #*#* game. I've tried everything posted, the only way I could reload a game was to start a new game and on the first turn load my saved game. But now 300 turns in even that will not work.
Return to Sender, das Ding ging zurück
Game will crash after few sec/minutes in game. Pc is shouting down. Resolution and graphic reduced to min but issue not solved. refund
A pleasant surprise, and a great replacement and improvement over Millennia, at least for what concerns the managament of goods and production chains. I am happy to have discovered this gem.
Recommended - A Fresh Take on 4X with Incredible Potential The game has some truly fantastic mechanics that make it stand out. While it has a long way to go before it's excellent, I'm absolutely hooked on the strategic depth. I love thinking about supply chains and a city's "quality of life", which is based on a conjunction of many factors rather than a single "happiness" bar. This approach makes me feel like my decisions truly matter, elevating how productive and fast a city grows. What's more, the cities feel incredibly alive, especially compared to other 4X games like Old World or even Civilization. The little touches, like seeing people walking on the streets and hearing the hum of city life, are a lovely detail that adds so much to the atmosphere. Points for Improvement There are definitely areas that need work. Warfare: The team was brave to try something different here, but the warfare system just doesn't click. It feels disconnected and doesn't offer the tactical depth or satisfaction one would hope for. AI & Commerce: The AI struggles to build cities effectively, often failing to take advantage of adjacencies between buildings. Additionally, the commercial aspect is far too simple, which is a shame given the great variety of craftable goods. A proper market system would make trade much more engaging. The trade routes themselves are way too simple; goods just appear in your inventory with no real consequences. Sometimes I'm exporting goods when I don't even have enough for my own cities, which breaks immersion. Religion & Diplomacy: These two systems feel underdeveloped and not very relevant. While religion offers generous buffs and provides a "holy war" casus belli, it doesn't feel complete. I'd love to see these areas become more integral to the gameplay. The "Forgotten" Civilizations: I like the idea of the last-place civilization on the prestige table being "forgotten" at the end of an act. It's a neat concept, but it feels incomplete when they are completely erased, leaving only ruins. A more interesting idea might be for some of their cities to remain as independent powers that you could interact with diplomatically or conquer. Furthermore, a truly interesting idea would be for a forgotten civilization to have a chance to switch to some another culture/civilization and start a campaign to reunify their old nation—a second shot at greatness. Hope for the Future The developers are announcing new changes, and honestly, I have a lot of hope for Ara. I haven't been this addicted to a game since I first tried Civ VI. I am so relieved that this isn't just another Civ clone but a game that adds grand strategy mechanics to the 4X genre. Such as Old World. These games need to be and feel different. Adding more complexity to the regular 4X formula is a breath of fresh air. Ara needs to forge its own path, and competition in the 4X genre is a great thing for everyone.
