Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy

Apollo Justice: [2/10] A rough start with some horrible Japanese tropes (magical panties, panty thief, etc), every case in this game is bad, I practically suffered through it to get to the second one, hoping it will be better. Almost every returning character is shafted in some way. The overarching narrative is weak, the second game explores the corruption of the court system and the "dark age of the law" much better. Enough said about this one. Dual Destinies: [9/10] Absolutely perfect. The difference in quality between this game and the previous one is jarring. The three main character are all characterized better, they somehow even made Apollo a better character (which I didn't think was possible). There's some nostalgia bait here and there but that is not why I'll rate this game so high. Spirit of Justice: [7/10] I mean, it's alright. The Kurain episodes are the high points, the western cases interjected between them feel like fillers. They are not bad, per se, just far less interesting compared to the A-Plot. My biggest criticism is Apollo becoming this weird anime character who is not only the son of legendary people but then was adopted by legendary people, in addition to him being childhood friends with legendary people. But it doesn't really take away from the larger them, it's just weird. The Special Episode in this is one is especially good.

AJ is good, DD is bad, SoJ is decent. If i had a nickel for every time the second game in a AA Trilogy is bad, i'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.

Good game(s)! A bit more hand-holdy than the first trilogy, but the new characters are a lot of fun! The music is amazing, but the 3D models in 5 and 6 take a bit getting used to... I personally prefer the 2D style of 1-4, but the games are still very enjoyable!

5能玩，但总体来说还是差，也就5.4和5.5勉强能看，其实5的新角色心音和夕神人设都不错，但剧本和塑造没撑起来，还好第五章拉回一点风评。但凡前面几章不整低智剧本，多一点铺垫，也不至于这样。

this triology has truly cemented my raw and chaotic Obsession for ace attorney. it's so good. IT'S SO GOOD. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. ofc it has obvious flaws but every character is s SFQEGQFFEQRFGEQHJ53YWR (in a good way) that it's kinda hard to not latch onto SOMETHING. btw kristoph gavin is the GOAT
