We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

About
MindsEye Campaign
MindsEye is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure thriller set in the near-future desert city of Redrock. You play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by a mysterious implant and fractured memories. Across a cinematic campaign, you’ll complete missions, uncover your past, and confront a conspiracy involving rogue AI, corrupt corporations, and unchecked military power, a threat that reaches far beyond the city itself.

The City of Redrock
Redrock is a desert metropolis where advanced technology is everywhere. AI and robotics control daily life, shaping everything from commerce to security. Beneath the surface, the city hides secrets, dangers, and conflict. From gleaming towers to industrial sprawl and remote outposts, every district is part of the story.
Combat
Combat is responsive and tactical. Outsmart enemies with unique behaviors, use cover and verticality, and fight in third person with a wide arsenal, pistols, SMGs, sniper rifles, energy weapons, and grenades. Your companion drone, DC2, is directly linked to your implant, providing hacking, scouting, and support in battle.

Driving and Vehicle Action
Missions place you behind the wheel of electric cars, muscle vehicles, buggies, and quadcopters. High-speed chases, desert runs, and industrial zone pursuits are designed to push your skills and keep the action moving.

Endless Stream of New Content
The campaign is only the beginning. MindsEye offers an endless stream of new playable content delivered regularly. New missions, races, puzzles, and challenges developed and released by the BARB team bring fresh surprises. This evolving world keeps MindsEye alive with new ways to play long after the credits roll.

Simple to Use Creation Tools
With our simple to use building tools, you’re not just playing, you’re creating. Builder mode provides access to AAA tools, including asset libraries and lighting systems, as well as simple visual scripting, making it easy to design missions, modes, and environments.
Built on False Promises
I really wanted MindsEye to be good. Because not many studios are brave enough to make a GTA-like game because it is very hard to do it properly. The last ones we had before MindsEye were Watch Dogs: Legion and Cyberpunk 2077 both in 2020, and we know how terrible those turned out to be. A new AAA studio with many former Rockstar developers sounded exciting. Sadly, MindsEye turned out to be one of the most generic games I've played in years.
Gameplay and Mission Design
The gameplay feels outdated in almost every way. The shooting is okay, but nothing about it feels satisfying enough to carry the game. Mission design is extremely repetitive and uninspired. Drive there, shoot some enemies, watch a cutscene, repeat. Almost feels like GTA IV with this mission design. It constantly feels like you've already played everything the game has to offer after the first half an hour.
Narrative
The game clearly wants to tell a cinematic story, but the writing simply isn't good enough. I appreciate the high production budget in the cinematics, but high production value doesn't automatically make a good narrative.
Technical State
The optimization is terrible. Bugs, performance issues and technical problems constantly get in the way. I am on a very high-tier rig yet still am experiencing stutters all the time. It's another AAA release that clearly needed way more time in the oven. I will praise the look of the open world though, the city gives that Las Vegas vibe well, which was one of the reasons of my interest in MindsEye.
Final Thoughts
MindsEye feels like a game made by people trying to recreate old Rockstar magic without understanding what actually made those games special. A disappointing and forgettable experience.
BROKEN MEDAL
Follow My Curator Page For More Reviews ⚜️

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
MindsEye
Also manchmal etwas spannend und dann wiederum öde.

Cyberpunk 2007
Pros:
✅ Looks quite nice on maximum settings. ✅ You can replay any mission you want. ✅ Achievements.
Cons:
❌ The city is quite detailed, but there is literally nothing to do. Exploring it during missions will most likely result in failing the mission. ❌ The main story is quite boring in the beginning and the characters aren't very likable. The second half, involving the artifact, was somewhat interesting, though (the animated ending was kinda WTF?). ❌ There is a lot of driving long distances from point A to point B (there is no radio that you can choose from, so there are no songs throughout the entire driving sections). Sometimes you get access to skip the trip. ❌ The memories in the main campaign feel completely random and don't make much sense. For example, you go to the SILVA factory and then access a memory where you're some random militia member destroying gang cars... ❌ Why the f*ck can't you hide the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen?! ❌ Performance isn't that great (Unreal Engine 5). ❌ Even with a 70% discount, I don't think this game would be worth it. At around 10 euros, I guess I could recommend it.
The trailers and cutscenes make it look like an expensive Hollywood blockbuster but as soon as you get the controls the pain sets in. The car physics are jittery the shooting is dull and the framerate drops even on decent hardware. The story is enjoyable but as a game the project is still in its infancy. Only get it at a steep discount ....
Relying entirely on updated graphics to hide its age, MindsEye feels like a mid-2000s flop that somehow stumbled into a 2025 release date. Everything from its flat plot and terrible characters to its dry, boring dialogue feels completely lifeless. With garbage gameplay mechanics and an entire campaign built on cycling between just two mission types, this is a severely below-mediocre game that fails to justify its place in modern gaming.
Wonderful game, 10/10, wish I could say more but I'm playing this game non stop, I have at least like 30 mins in this game, and the fun doesn't stop! My wife's boyfriend approves of this game, also.
