There are so many things to say about Amnesia: The Dark Descent, from its atmosphere, sound design, and mechanics to so much more, and I have to say it's great! However, I don't think it's a timeless game. What I mean by that is Amnesia definitely was a game ahead of its time and is a perfect example of how to make a horror game with its foundation and creativity, but it also shows its age in some moments, especially when you are trying to figure out something; but that doesn't stop it from still being great. Final Verdict:⭐⭐⭐⭐(4/5)
