For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Endings are rough, but worth.
Storyline is awesome. Choices you make having impact on the outcome is awesome.
Although I haven't played it for long, I think already this game has been unfairly maligned, supposedly the story is weak and the gameplay is too easy. I would count the second point as moot, as both Dark Descent and Machine for Pigs *and* SOMA weren't challenging in the gameplay department either. And while I can't speak to the story, the visuals and setting is a real step up from what came before; fantastic desert vistas, creepy caves, and ancient eldritch monoliths galore- I will say this while it had great atmosphere, felt very 'comfy' to play- I didn't really feel on edge like I did with Dark Descent. But still, plays exactly to frictionals strengths; Story, Narration, Mystery and Atmospheric Horror. A worthy sequel.
A solid entry in the Amnesia series that really delves into the world that earlier games hint at in a unique and engaging way! Realized I had not ever added a review after playing but it's really hard to go wrong with Frictional game titles as a horror fan and this is no exception. While I think the current strongest game in the Amnesia franchise is likely the Bunker (not super fair I suppose since I played this one shortly after that game as opposed to years before), this still has some classic creep factors and has a really well formulated story that in my opinion felt a bit more complete than the earlier The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs. Definitely recommend giving this story a run through and of course while you are at it may as well play all of the Amnesia series as well as the other titles from this developer!
