From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dear Esther comes a new first-person horrorgame that will drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness. It will bury its snout into your ribs and it will eat your heart.

Reviews
It's easy to see why this game got a lot of hate when it came out; it's short, it's easy, it's not as scary as the first game, and it scraps most of the mechanics that made the first Amnesia so interesting. That might sound horrible on paper, but it all actually works in the game's favour most of the time. For example, while the game might be overall easier, the difficulty curve ends up being a lot smoother and more consistent compared to the first game. Even setting comparisons aside, there's a lot of charm in this industrial revolution factory setting, some really great visual design and music, and a lot of genuinely beautiful writing interspersed between. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for something short and spooky to play on a Halloween night.
Not as iconic as the dark descent, and quite short. But enjoyable nonetheless.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"An intellectual, creative writer meets a world-class, classically trained musician, resulting in another timeless and unforgettable storytelling masterpiece from The Chinese Room." 9.3/10 TD A Machine For Pigs is a masterfully written intellectual story brimming with deep and highly creative metaphorical literature, accompanied by a hauntingly dark yet beautifully crafted soundtrack which breathes life into all elements of the project, creating an atmospheric experience like no other. It's not the Amnesia follow-up fans expected, but it leaves its mark deep in the franchise emblem for different reasons from its counterparts. Where the original game shows its weaknesses, A Machine for Pigs shows its strengths; where the original game shows its strengths, A Machine for Pigs shows its weaknesses. Accept the divisiveness this project injected into the franchise's library, or pick your poison.
This game is more about the atmosphere rather then jump-scares, hide and seek with monsters, or puzzles. And I quite like it for that. It's strictly linear, no exploration. There are few simple puzzles, but most of the game is just walking forward.
One of the best story games i've ever played. I'm not even joking, If your not intrested in a story first game you probably wont like this, but if you are, must play!
