I've been playing through the Amnesia series in Reverse. Bunker has the best gameplay. Went onto Rebirth, best lore/story telling and scariest. I went onto this one. Wow is it just bad. All fronts except voice acting. Story is cheaply put together, not compelling. Gameplay is just running. There's no puzzle solving at all, you can only interact with what you need to. I just ran through enemies and went into the level exit 3 times. Really poorly made. Music seems out of place at times. game runs bad on modern machines, 60 lock dipping to 40 lock randomly. Super short too, which is kind of good since it's so bad. Knowing this, I went to Amnesia 1 thinking wow, if the 2nd was that bad how bad will the 1st be. Nope. 1st is phenomenal. I dont understand how they could regress so much. I checked how it ties into the whole series, and it just has like references here. It could be some kid's project in game dev school if you just remove the like 2 references and name. Do not recommend. Complete waste of your time. I read reviews before playing, mixed, I thought they were full of crap because a lot of the time they are. Nope. This should be not mixed, but negative.

Amnesia a machine for pigs is a ok game is it better than Dark descent........no Positives Really good level designs and atmosphere The Sound design was great Pig monsters are well designed and the story is decent..........and sadly thats where the positives end While i did say the pig monsters look cool they are barely even used other than the few times you are chased by them which i am pretty sure i could count the amount of times i was chased by them or had to hide from them on one hand which is just very disappointing and a majority of the time the pigs are just used as a visual or audio scare and then they leave. Sanity and Health GONE. (you regenerate your health no more laudanam) Inventory GONE. The ability to grab and throw alot of miscellaneous items BUTCHERED (you can only pick up a handful of items) Also for some reason this game crashed alot for me especially when i was trying to leave londons streets. Ultimatly im just mixed id say if you want to play this game wait for a sale as its a pretty short game
