Once upon a time, this game was the most fun thing on Steam. My brothers and I would spend hours building, scavenging, and enjoying what started off as a genuinely difficult survival game (over a decade ago). Was it flawless? Absolutely not. Console errors and crashes would pop up with regularity, building more than 3 campfires would cause insanely massive, un-survivable hordes, and you needed to farm 20,000 trees just to spend hours building wooden bows and leveling up bow skill. And, of course, you died. A lot. But that was the charm! Underneath it all, the groundwork for an amazing game was brewing. We were continuously promised end game content, extensive new POIs, wandering nomads, new weaponry, new crafting, etc etc. And we waited, year after year, buggy patch after buggy patch, for just a little more zombie goodness to come. Now, this game is a shell of its former self. 1.0 was supposed to be the crowning glory of a decade of 7 Days. Instead, it basically turned the game to easy mode. Now we're up to 3.0, and what of the promised additions? Still no nomads, still no new weapons, and (most importantly) NO END GAME CONTENT! What's the point of playing if you're invincible after 3 horde nights? And what have the devs done to address user complaints? Blamed us for wanting too much! Then, as a slap in the face, they redesign things that didn't need changed and start adding paid DLC and AI Slop to the game. No one needs new AI generated in game signs. No one needs a bikini in the middle of an apocalypse. Give us what you promised for 10+ years. Give us something worth playing time and time again. Not more AI slop and cash grabs. Unfortunately, like so many good games, this one has died to greed and incompetence. Avoid it.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 66.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 76.86/day in the week after.
Of the 2 markets with a position on both sides, 2 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy mess with no real end game. You just loop and loop till you get bored
Review for the 3.1.0 version of the game. I have a weird relationship with this game. About every year I decide to install it again and play it for about 2 weeks straight. Then I get to the end game and just drop it. There are good things I like about this game. I like how every block can be reshaped, so the game is not filled with variants of blocks like in Minecraft. I like how guns have different models for the same attachments, like with the pipe rifle scope and sniper rifle scope. Most of its problems stem from the strange development of this game. The devs would take away things like jars and temperature, things that added to the immersion of an apocalypse, then add things like storms and biome progression, which add nothing to the game and only serve to slow you down for no good reason. Despite this, I think the 3.0 update was one of the best updates in years, simply because it allowed you to turn off all of the bad decisions they added in previous updates. No new weapons or tools, so you are stuck using the same things over and over again. An RPG leveling system similar to Skyrim that used to be good, but was replaced with something boring. Zombies lack variety. The most you will get is the same zombie, but with a different colored shirt. Not to mention the jarring animations they have. The voxel system this game has is weird and janky, most noticeable when digging and mining. The game is strangely punishing for misplacing blocks, giving you its crafting materials instead of just the block. Sometimes not even enough to craft another. Points of Interest play more like dungeons rather than real buildings. This makes questing kind of boring, since in order to kill every zombie in an area, you must follow the "intended" route. Quests are boring. A magazine system that makes unlocking recipes based on RNG, even this games equivalent to a crafting table. Traders are locked to certain biomes, so you can't get the doctor or mechanic in a snow biome for some reason. Armor effects are terribly balanced. Some are terrible, while others have practically no downsides. A book system that lets you completely negate mechanics in the game. What's the point in having them if they are just going to be turned off later? Have not tried any mods, but I heard there were a couple of good ones. Would not recommend to someone interested. Especially for the price it is at.
Until you publicly apologize to Jawoodle for your own F**k up I am not touchin your game. It's bad enough you complain about reasonable feedback from your players.
I have personally played the game for a short while compared to others but i have known about this from around alpha 3 and watched it grow ever since The game used to be a fun survival game that would ask "how are you going to survive now" but nowadays it feels more like a scripted dungeon crawler/RPG that tells you "heres what you WILL do and how WE want you to survive" I have seen countless features get removed readded changed or compleatly remade instead of focusing on improving them By how the game has been going recently I can not recommend this game anymore
its just too repetitive, every animation feels stiff, has the look of free unity assets

Great game to play with a group of friends. This game's sandbox nature means that you will have a lot of ways to approach your character build, weapons you use, the way you craft, get food, create a base, make money and so much more. Because of its nature you end up using a lot of hours adventuring, testing and honing your skills. You get hooked quite easily even if you don't have experience from games of its genre. But once the honeymoon is over you will start to realize that the game has at the same time a lot of content and not enough of it. You start to realize how most cities look the same, how different biomes look similar, how the cities are empty with nobody to interact with, how quests are all the same. However my personal gripe with the game is the progression. First two Biomes have really low loot/game stage which determines what kind of loot you find, so you don't find any higher tier weapons, but once you go to any of the last three the stage is cranked to "over 9000" and you end up batting endgame loot away with a stick. You can easily end up with the best weapons of the game in under 7 days which is very counter intuitive and completely ruins the late game as well as defeats the purpose of learning to craft weapons. Still recommending highly to people who have never played this game.
Game dosent have ennough says its in "alpha" but its been in alpha since before i went to college. smothie system is dumn and renaming the smoothies is not "Fixing" the system. once u know that there are just quests in each zone with no variety it takes all the magic of survival out of it.
