Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Long-time player/supporter of 7DTD. Bought my first PS4 in 2014 and this was the second game I owned. Loved it even more when I switched to PC in 2019. HOWEVER It's basically becoming Fortnite. You guys became that money-hungry that you started charging $10 for COSMETICS. Which is honestly barely better than allowing players to pay for skins that actually help their stats just because they can't play the game. You have officially gone from (what I have spoken about you anyway) a truly, for-the-players development, to a money-hungry massdouchery. Stop with the updates and let the game die with some pride at least.
I dont know man, the game has going up and down, remade many times and how it is right now, I dont feel like coming back to this game. Its just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ zombie game with weird mechanics that has been done better many times.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 66.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 76.86/day in the week after.
Of the 2 markets with a position on both sides, 2 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Got hooked on the ps4 version of this game and loved it, not a huge fan of it now. I was so excited for it, but was sorely disappointed
They released "1.0" some time ago but we all knew it was just the next Alpha version. Still having many placeholders assets and missing features, they instead focus on pumping out DLC content to farm money out of its fans. I cannot endorse this game at its increased price point and unfinished state. Clearly money driven development now and not game driven.
Bad change in direction.
They created something great and then they got greedy and started to enshittify it.
New update just destroyed my saved world. Completely wiped, tried going back into the versions, didn't matter. In fact, every time there was an attempt to fix it, it got WORSE until everything in my world was deleted. Genuinely, HOW does this game cost money when it's unplayable? This is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. Devs don't give a ♥♥♥♥.
This game is the epitome of fixing what isn't broken Bipolar ass devs can't decide what they want their game to be. change the most unnecessary ♥♥♥♥ every update why change how the world settings worked?? The gameplay isn't bad now, but the problem is that there's nothing stopping them from making it into a dating sim or some completely different thing by next update I wouldn't care about them pushing DLC either if they would just set the game in stone when they keep making changes to things nobody complained about while adding paid skins it feels like they're doing it because they're losing their player count and they need you to give them money It feels like a failing studio with passions that no longer align with a dying zombie survival game just milking it with microtransactions and I love this game </3 (I'm allowing comments bc I wanna know if I'm an cynical ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for this)
the game has 10 years and still. Every update break every single thing. I'm tired of starting over just because one bugfix update can inutilize your save.
