XIII - Classic

확실히 오래된 게임이라 여러가지 불편한 점들이 있음, 먼저 ㅈ같은 세이브 시스템 + 컷씬 노스킵이 레알 구데기 종범임 플탐을 이걸로 늘린듯. 그리고 개짜치는 허물만 있는 와이어 액션과 억까 낙사 판정은 솔직히 게임에 손이 안가게 하는 주범임. 하지만, 솔직히 게임성이, 첩보액션인척 하지만 사실 그냥 람보에 가까우며 생각 없이 플레이해도 기억에 남을만한 맵 디자인들과 개성있는 아트는 지금 게임들에 비해 편의성은 부족하지만 써틴만이 가지고 있는 유니크함이 분명히 있어 FPS 팬이라면 무조건 해봐야 된다고 생각함. 마지막으로 이게임 덕에 카툰랜더링에 매력을 알게되었고, 유비도 한때는 개쩌는 게임회사임이 틀림없었단걸 증명하는 게임중 하나임 이제 리메 하러감

I played this game on my XBOX (2002), and had a lot of fun with it. I read that the remake was bad, so I went for the classic port of the game. It works very well! I mostly played the storyline, so I'll talk about that in my review. The missions have diverse enough goals, equipment and different approaches that each one feels unique. The storyline is interesting - slowly discovering who is involved in a conspiracy and diving into the rabbit hole of the operation behind it kept me invested. The graphics are fun. The comic-style text- and image boxes work well with the environment of a fast-paced, somewhat stealthy shooter. If you want to play a simple, yet fun game for about 10 hours, you might enjoy XIII too!

First of all: SAVE MANUALLY, the game doesn't do it for you. Fun game with a few flaws This game got me hooked fast. XIII is an fps like an easy-going action spy movie. Or a comic book. + vast array of locations and sceneries + decent pacing of stealth and shooting sections + unique art style that's well integrated into gameplay - at times annoying checkpoints - unbelievable environment and npcs Now the biggest issue with this game is the checkpoints. Sometimes they're placed in a way that forces you to watch the same cutscene again and again, or repeat mundane tasks. That can be a bit annoying. It's not all over the place, though. I do like how the checkpoints are rather scarce. Having only one or two checkpoints in a mission encouraged me to be aware of my supplies and stay focused. Makes for a rewarding feeling when finishing the objective. Like you've really accomplished a challenging mission. The npc behavior can be a bit unbelievable. Them not hearing shots being fired from around the corner breaks the immersion a bit. The music is alright, nothing groundbreaking. it does its job well conveying suspense and action. Except one case of massive fps drop the game performed smooth on windows 11, no tweaking settings. If you like playing on higher difficulties I recommend you play on XXX difficulty. It's not that hard and makes for a satisfying challenge. XIII is a fun shooter with all the spy tropes you can think of. Mild annoyances aside the pacing and diverse setpieces make for a gripping and never boring experience. 2€ is a deal ! Minor spoiler ahead: I would have loved a few more freaky boss fights. I was hyped about fighting [spoiler] that doctor who throws surgical instruments and injects you with drugs[/spoiler], the ones that followed were a bit of a letdown.

以现在的眼光来看，剧情基于同名漫画1-6卷中规中矩，主角的身份确实好猜，后面证实自己做了整容手术反倒少了些惊讶。关卡设计哪怕放2003年也算不上多好（同年使命召唤1都发售了），漫画画风契合原著虽然讨喜，但在视觉上做不出层次感，再加上时有时无的指引向导，导致部分关卡兜来转去找不到路着实令人心烦。射击手感不知道是为了给潜行服务还是育碧巴黎真的拉，能用的只有左轮和弩箭，其他武器要么后坐力打上天，要么就是武器散布隔壁战火兄弟连看了都要落泪的大。敌人数量也是疯狂堆怪，各种无意义的空间堆一群敌人，加上前面糟糕的射击手感属实坐牢。 再一个就是第六世代游戏普遍的存档机制，每关需要玩家手动存档，因为任务切换游戏是不会自动存档的，而由于本游戏任务平均长度都很短，导致游戏的自带的存档检查点也可有可无，如果不勤存档，很容易死了之后要从很久以前的某关的某个自动检查点从头再来。更别提本游戏在如今的新硬件环境下兼容性捉急，即使打了社区补丁或自行整dgvdooo，虚幻2引擎总归会在部分爆炸场景容易内存溢出崩溃，导致我玩的火冒三丈。

Feels much like Project IGI, but with a few additional features and weapons being extremely inaccurate. Even the music has the exact same film-like style here and there. May feel quirky and frustrating at first. Becomes quite entertaining as you get used to the mechanics. P.S. Played with mods/patches for modern hardware.

Milyen régi,és mégis milyen jó hangulatú maradt ez a játék 20 év után Nosztalgiából ismét megvettem hogy kijátszam,ahhoz képest hogy régen ezt a játékot PS-en játszottam kicsit szokatlan PC-én. Ugyan létezik belőle remake de szerintem az nem fogja visszaadni ugyanazt az érzést mint ez. Nagyon nyugodt szivvel ajánlom,nem fogtok benne csalódni.
