The Last Tinker™: City of Colors

It's an undeniably vibrant and charming 3D platformer with a neat concept centered around restoring hues to a segregated world. However, the entirely automated platforming and overly simplistic combat make it feel more like an interactive cartoon than an engaging game. Great for younger players, but a bit too shallow for seasoned platformer fans.

Мир и сюжет поначалу кажется причудливым и необычным. Но как только вы привыкнете к странным местам и персонажам, вы поймёте, что всё тематически хорошо продумано. В каждом цветовом регионе живут люди, чьи эмоции соответствуют их цветам. Это уникальный мир со своими правилами... Хотя графика и не поражает с технической точки зрения, она эстетически приятна, логична и хорошо проработана. Красочный и очаровательный стиль очень привлекателен. Звуковое оформление и музыка просты, но эффективны.

THE LAST TINKER: CITY OF COLORS Un juego con una vibra algo infantil que por momentos puede parecer lento por su jugabilidad, pero que ofrece una experiencia disfrutable. Su bonita ambientación definida por un estilo artístico muy colorido y caricaturesco me gustó tanto como la banda sonora que acompañó muy bien la travesía. Algo negativo para mí fue la poca personalidad y desarrollo del protagonista, aunque la historia logra compensarlo. Como juego, diría que no es de los mejores de su tipo, pero ofrece una aventura con encanto. Con el 100% no tuve problemas. Tiene logros como ir en busca de coleccionables y algunos perdibles a los que ya estoy acostumbrado.

I was having an interesting, somewhat fun time of it, until I got to the green district and had to get past a giant security drone and it kept spotting me and killing me with an undodgeable, one-hit range attack--then continued to spawn-kill me after that! I tried hurrying backwards to the previous area after spawning but it's attack hit me through the walls! Sure, it felt like a glitch but it also felt like 2014 game design. I don't know. It also has the out-of-date design of save-points-that-aren't-checkpoints: if you quit at a save point you might reload at the start of the level, needing to re-do cut scenes which can't be skipped. The combat was blah. The platforming without a jump button actually felt smooth and the developers were coming up with interesting variations for it. Ah well, on to the next game.
