Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Nice, more casual take on core X-COM turn-based gameplay. I also like the background of City 31, which reminds me of the city in X-COM: Apocalypse game from the late 1990's.
I have played XCOM: Enemy Unknown / Enemy Within up and down. I have played XCOM 2 several times. I have played Long War 1 & 2 (modded XCOM). This game just simply doesn't engage as much because for all the thought they put into this game, you cannot lose. Like your literally not allowed to lose even a single character, because that loses the mission and you have to restart. On paper that works, however it just decreases the base difficulty of the design and when there are more difficult missions they aren't rewarding because you can just trial-and-error your way through everything.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Characters and voice acting are SO childish and stupid that it was impossible for me to continue playing. THAT bad they are. What the F were they thinking?
XCOM: DEI-Classified Edition Hard pass from me chief, but it was part of the bundle to get all the xcom 2 dlc for the cheap cheap. shoutout to torque tho, gahdamn girl
While not a bad game overall XCOM Chimera Squad falls into some problems mainly with its undercooked story. The unique cast of characters are mainly the biggest positives along with a fairly accessible gameplay loop that doesn't overstay its welcome. During my playthrough I did run into a few visuals glitches that did take me out of some of the longer main missions but thankfully I could look past it and it didn't stop progression at any point. I recommend picking this up during a big sale if possible because the foundations are there for a great game it just unfortunately never reaches its true potential.
I got this game because I heard it was good. Within the first ten minutes I knew it wasn't for me. Why? The tone is all wrong. First, it is written like many modern games, with dialog that is flat out stupid with folks making dumb jokes while in very serious situations. Then there is the general overall color of the game and the look of the characters that told me this was a woke infested game with the usual tropes and cliches of the ugly women with half shaved heads and thin incompetent male characters that look like they'd fit in better in a modern Jaguar commercial. Stick to the old games. The tone in this one is all wrong.
It's pretty good but there are a decent amount of little bugs in the game. The older Xcom's are more enjoyable but this is still a fun game.
worse then the original's don't recomend to get if your a fan of the first 2 games
