Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE BUY THIS GAME! It was pure torture to finish the campaign even once..... The game is buggy as hell, most mechanics don´t work and inventory management is torture. IF you have an Xcom itch then buy literally any other Xcom game or Xcom like. Pheonix Point, Menace, Xenonauts, Zero Company any other game is BY LIGHTYEARS better than this game. I regret every cent I spent on this game and that I forced myself to finish it even once because I bought it....
Nice, more casual take on core X-COM turn-based gameplay. I also like the background of City 31, which reminds me of the city in X-COM: Apocalypse game from the late 1990's.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Don't know why some folks dislike Chimera - It's solid game. Mechanic to move one by one pawn is quite common in tactical games, here feels fresh, action is bit more parallel. The idea that now humans and aliens try to keep the order in a mess of human and aliens seems quite ironic and very x-com to me - I buy it. It is true, that it's somewhat simplified, but it is also no more a global mission - you now get single, mixed SWAT team to work with. New abilities are pretty neat too. Not a masterpiece, but still quite good X-COM game. No issues under linux.
Cool little game, very fun for two weeks It's not very replayable ( maybe 2-3 times) same characters and same enemy factions, just in different order. so purchase only on big discount.
Characters and voice acting are SO childish and stupid that it was impossible for me to continue playing. THAT bad they are. What the F were they thinking?
worse then the original's don't recomend to get if your a fan of the first 2 games
I got this game because I heard it was good. Within the first ten minutes I knew it wasn't for me. Why? The tone is all wrong. First, it is written like many modern games, with dialog that is flat out stupid with folks making dumb jokes while in very serious situations. Then there is the general overall color of the game and the look of the characters that told me this was a woke infested game with the usual tropes and cliches of the ugly women with half shaved heads and thin incompetent male characters that look like they'd fit in better in a modern Jaguar commercial. Stick to the old games. The tone in this one is all wrong.
