Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This game is what I was looking for. I've been playing NMS a lot but it doesn't have the focus on space that I was looking for and X4 really deliveres there! It has quite a learning curve but you don't need to learn everything all at once. They have the tutorials playable any time so I just played them as needed. The game has bugs and issues but it's kinda like old Bethesda games where breaking some system can be fun. The game also gives you freedom, you can just easily egnore the missions and go your own way. Enjoying it so far and can see I'm going to sink a lot of hours into it. If you want to try this, set your expectations to "this has a learning curve", slow down and take your time.
make sure t watch youtube to get a better grip on the game. once yu know what is going on there is so much you can do

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is amazing, i love the complexity of managing an economy and an empire and the fact that you arnt forced into a singular playstyle. Trader, Conqueror, Pirate, its a true sandbox experience. It isnt for the light of heart however, managing stations, fleets, other aspects of your empire requires going through a very in depth economy and management systems. If you are a boomer or a COD Kid, this game does require you to use your brain for once, however it isnt as difficult as these negative reviews are making it out to be. There is a LOT of information out there, so much in fact that i have been able to get almost all of my questions about the game answered with just a quick google search or asking gemini. If your looking for a good space sim or a single player version of eve online, this is the game for you and it is really good.
Expected more serious No Mans Sky. Expected Eve offline. Got the most fun and infuriating experience I've had in the last 5 years. You play space sim then you get tired and switch to RTS game that slowly evolves into grand strategy. Totally worth it!
Каждый раз обновление ломает игру! Запускаю сохранение, 5 минут и игра вылетает!
Excellent, just need a lot of patience
I get lost in this game, personal favourite!
Not really sure what im doing really but since getting the basic controls figured out, im enjoying slowly learning the different systems
Im really trying to like it but the lack of intuitive UI or explanations on where to go for certain things I really making it hard to want to keep playing.
So, this game is one of the classics - alongside Kenshi, Rimworld, and others which afford limitless player agency and is rife with jank. You learn to accept the jank - such as the utter impenetrability of the gameplay to the bizarre interface choices, to the bugs - in order to get to the meat of the game of which there is truly nothing else on the market that does everything it tries to do and often succeeds. Like many people will tell you - it's a very hard game to get into. The 'cut your teeth' content in the timelines DLC is actually worse than nothing, but is almost required due to the rewards. The tutorials are awkward, but absolutely required yet none of it really prepares you. I'll tell you though that the end result when you're really in it - is singular. My longest running game I was operating as a mercenary and had a military force of ships that could warp into a sector and unload 4 full wings of 4 squadrons each of fighters and a battlecruiser with 12 beam turrets. We were fighting the good fight against the X and the K. I promise, it gets worth it and I promise it will be chewing chalk until it is.
