Devs abandoned the game with no updates, and no bug fixes. The first game is so much better in everyway. Steer clear, there are many others like this game that are way better than Wizard of Legend.
I loved wizard of legend 1 and had high hopes for the sequel but it's not even close. Not worth it

I don't get the negative reviews. Game is fun, and apart from the new art style (which is also good), pretty similar to the original. Obviously there are differences but generally I personally prefer it to the first game. Been playing local co-op and it's great, so uhhh... ???
I wanted to like this game. Unfortunately, everything the first game was, this one is not. The animation is the most uninspired Hades slop possible. The attacks and mechanics seem totally unchanged from the first game The map design is absolutely uninspired The arenas themselves are poorly parsed, and it is easy to get locked or stuck. And that's before you get to the poor roguelike structure and weird collision bugs. Even additional comment does not save this game from mediocrity. Do not recommend, even on sale. Play Hades or Sworn instead.
It could be a like Hades for 4 players, but it's not. Enemies and bosses are badly designed and do not flag their attacks. I don't really like it - local coop is the only reason to play.
Take this review with a grain of salt as others give far more detailed explinations on whats wrong, I just play games to enjoy them. This game is fun at first, don't get me wrong. plenty of Arcana you can mix and match, bosses are fun too. but it doesn't feel anything like the first one, which hey- that may be the whole point of the game, to be different to what it used to be. I'd love and I mean LOVE to see this game get proper love from th eteams behind it and see proper updates. I wanted to grind the achievements but honestly-.. it doesn't feel worth it.
Yeah kind of an ass sequel. Progression is just weird, there's this HILARIOUS bug where falling into a pit can completely brick your run by locking you in place, forcing you to quit out. Just play the first one, don't even bother with this garbage.
It's a good game for a few sessions in local co-op. It's not very deep, the story is very meh, but the gameplay is solid. Take it for what it is - it gives enough entertainment for the price tag. I would probably not recommend it for single player, but for local co-cop, it's a good, fun game to play.
