About
Use momentum-based movement mechanics with precision, deploy a variety of tools and resources, and ascend as fast as you can.
Just don't lose your grip, there’s eternity below you.
Manage your inventory or become encumbered and fall to your death. Failure to grab what you need from your bag in time can spell disaster.
Through run-based meta-progression, you’ll discover and unlock varied augmentations.
Bolster your will to ascend.
You're not alone down here. Strange life flourishes far underground, and darker things haunt these halls. Something oozes from the depths– following you, growing angrier… and it won't let up.
Travel through different regions with unique threats and gameplay challenges during your attempted escape of the underground megastructure.
The deep dry storage of the Silos, the putrid sewers of the Pipeworks, the haunted piers of Habitation. Each area will require adaptation to new obstacles and denizens.

You wake up. Is this a prison? Climb. There's something below, there's something up. Why? Climb. Is this a laboratory? Are you mutating? Climb. Are you even a person beneath? Climb. Climb. And please don't let go... I never thought I will be in love with horror climbing games. You climb, you fall, you try again. White knuckle is nerving and quite stressful game (especially if you suck like me :D). Game isn't the most forgiving. It takes time to get used to mechanics, maybe some controls feel weird, a lot of stuff is being thrown at you from the start of the game. BUT it all magically feels fluid when it clicks, when you know everything and ready for every situation and... then you fall... You get the idea. Dark Machine created an interesting structure of... megastructure (overall and sound design are beautiful), you climb inside something far beyond simple building complex, you feel like you don't belong there. Like small bugs that evolved to live in our houses, you as a player have to adapt to everything surrounding gives to you, since nothing really being explained. Pretty cool to be a human-insect crawling through technical tunnels. Maybe nothing is about you, you just an unlucky dweller that got into "crossfire" of events. Megastructure "changes" every time you restart the run, and there's a decent amount of tiles though they quite frequently repeat from run to run. Don't get me wrong, game has a great replayability and does give enough of a "rouge-like"-ness: challenge runs, event runs, dozens of perks, randomness, items and etc. In short the game definitely worth at least of a couple winning runs. It took me like 45-ish minutes on my first winning run. The story is given to you with notes thrown around levels and on the computers. I can't say much about lore and story, main campaign is not finished yet (so are other game modes me thinks), but there's already a lot to explore and dive into (get it? like the game about climbing but the joke is that you dive :D and like-.... ah, whatever). That's pretty much it I guess. Hope you, my dear review scroller, will like and enjoy the game (just or even more than me). Wish you the best <3

Delta Labs 손 괴물 잘못 만듬
The climbing is very fluid and feels almost perfect
This game is a masterpiece in the making, i love this game and im still hooked, after 100+ hours i still havent even touched all the content, and its just got so much replayability, unlocking new skips, discovering all the artifacts, the rho perks, slowly buying out all the sectors, its all so fun to engage with and i love every single region and how in depth they are(except delta labs pls rework it its so unfun lmfao) PLEASE BUY THIS GAME IF YOUR CONSIDERING IT!! you wont be dissapointed
Incredible gameplay and atmosphere. Controls feel smooth as butter and everything feels intuitive. Lots of hidden tech and mechanics to learn, and it feels incredible to beat sections of the game after many times of struggle. The "horror" aspect of this game comes from how many times i have physically winced and held my breath during clutch moments of this game, and with how many times ive shat myself
