Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.25/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really wanted to love this game especially as a huge fan of the original Wasteland and Fallout / Fallout 2, and I did love it - when I wasn't running into save-breaking bugs. I'm barely into the second act of the Director's Cut on my current playthrough and I just encountered my third save-breaking bug involving quest progression. Sorry, but even during lockdown, I don't have the patience to replay the game for hours just to get the game world back to where it should be, especially when it's because the devs can't be assed to figure out basic quest progression issues. Honestly even after the second bug I encountered, the experience already became a huge bummer because of how much it affected the way I approached the game; I became afraid of intertwining different quests / locations, etc. for fear of running into these bugs. And then it happened for the third time anyway. I'll also mention a gameplay aspect that really annoyed me: Party companions are sometimes made unavailable or even just taken away, for story reasons. Given all the considerations that go into party composition and the time/effort invested into developing companions, I feel like that's a really bad design element. To be fair, if you're looking for that Wasteland / Fallout / Fallout 2 feel in a relatively modern package AND you can deal with these types of bugs, you'll probably love this game. But, for me it's three strikes and you're out.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
RPG strategy of 2014. 3,500th rated game. Wasteland 2 review https://steamcommunity.com/groups/hoi4deu/discussions/0/3543798390529355943/ The infernal landscape of the Wasteland awaits for you to make your mark... or die trying. Test the limits of your strategic skills and bring justice to the wasteland. Decision Making... With Consequences: With both short- and long-term responsiveness, your choices spread outward, altering the events of the game and forever changing the lives of the people of the Wasteland. (Shortened by developer) New features in the Director's Cut: Complete Graphics Overhaul: Wasteland 2's environments and characters have been recreated and updated in Unity 5 to take advantage of the latest graphics technologies. Perks & Quirks: Customize your squad even more! Perks & Quirks are special personality traits that allow you to breathe even more life into your characters, with their own unique bonuses... and disadvantages. (Abridged by developer) The second part as Director's Cut not only beautifies and improves but also offers some newly designed locations. This means that you have to change your approach compared to the original. It is and remains a hard old school RPG. So you shouldn't expect to get any help in the game. In order to fulfill your orders, you have to search for a solution yourself. Expect no mercy. Although the game is quite difficult because of this, you should still use a medium difficulty level. You take the fun of the game. Because you wander through the wasteland like vacationers and that's not what you want. Clear recommendation, but beware, it is an endurance test. I give the thumbs down because the publisher has linked the original (2 hour test) and the new version (10 hour test) to a shop page and I am not able to upload this rating for the corresponding game. The saves are not compatible and the two games are only displayed correctly in the library. As a curator, I have uploaded about 6,000 game reviews, something like this has never happened before. If you were fan of the original Fallout 1 and 2 from back in the day, you will love this! The characters and story are deep and complex. They did a great job of creating a serious, but not-too-serious vibe. Lots of fun and humor while keeping it real. There are dual-missions that require you to choose between two groups that need help. There's no way to save them both. You must live with your choice, and the losers really let you have it! 10/10 Highly recommend!
Remember back before 3D, when there was an entire generation of isometric RPGs with D20 rules and deep story? You can still buy them, but within five minutes you throw them at the wall because they are so ugly and painful to play. This is the same style of game, except not ugly and not painful. (Also not sword-and-sorcery fantasy, which I'm utterly sick of.) It's tough to say whether I prefer Wasteland 2 & 3 or Shadowrun Returns / Dragonfall / Hong Kong. They're all great. Shadowrun feels a bit more indie. Note that the Wasteland 1 reboot is NOT in this style. It's the original DOS game, with better graphics. If you like Wasteland 2, definitely get Wasteland 3 and Shadowrun, but not necessarily Wasteland 1.
I have mixed feelings about this one. The first half is really solid. Engaging combat, fun missions, good narrative structure, etc. But about halfway through, once you get to California, the missions and their solutions become about as convoluted and unintuitive as early-90's Lucasarts point-and-click adventures. To be fair, while I did end up throwing in the towel without beating it, I did spend about 40+ hours playing it before I lost interest. So still a thumbs-up in my book. (Side-rant: take note of how many people who gave it a negative review also oddly logged 100+ hours. Playtime is the only real indicator of how good a game is. If it takes you almost a full week's worth of hours to decide you dislike something, your Zen's all outta whack.)
I should find this really fun to play, I loved Wasteland 3 but... oh my god, that mission in the ag center is the worst thing possible. The most interesting post-apocaliptic world every created since Fallout and we waste hours of gameplay dodging exploding pods... Why is one of the first missions of the game a hell of a test for your patience?
I have tried to play this through, twice, but am giving up, again. Movement is a chore. Mission logic seems to frequently be broken: a mission will jump ahead without you knowing it, and it then not making sense what you have to do, where an NPC has gone etc. Actual options of actions are seemingly quite limited and repetitive (pick lock - bash door - pick lock). I can't think of a moment that struck me as innovative or clever, or a nice combination of actions. Story is cheesy (as far as I got) and I didn't care for any NPCs. Dialogue options seem limited. NPC avatars don't match the models and are shared between characters. Graphics, sounds, freedom of customisation of characters skills is all nice enough. But, overall, it became a chore to try and finish and I couldn't be bothered to move to the next distinctive section of the story and see it to the end.
This is a game that you really need to invest your time in if you want the best experience possible. I played this before the directors cut was released, so if you play this version of the game, you have to be aware of some of the differences such as no perks, quirks, and voiceover, graphics, and bugs. If you haven’t played this before, but played some of the old school fallout games, then most of the menu layouts and concepts from those games will be immediately recognizable to you in this game. There really is a lot to explore and uncover in this game, as you won’t see every outcome of a decision you make on your first play through. The gameplay is pretty straight-forward, kind of annoying at first since you will always be weak and low-skilled, but as you progress you become a death squadron and basically destroys anything in sight. I will say that the gameplay and the side quests really make the game shine, but the pacing of the main story is slow, with the second half of the game being much more enjoyable and different from the first half. Overall, it’s a fun experience and definitely something to own if you are into old school rpgs. If you can play the directors cut, but this game is still fine.
imbalanced combat. no real character development. poorly forced quest chains. this game is mediocre at best.
