Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
imbalanced combat. no real character development. poorly forced quest chains. this game is mediocre at best.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is an amazing journey, you start off weak but am able to build yourself and your team up into an all star cast. This game is wasteland, and it is fallout 1 & 2, for any hater who says, "it's not the best thing ever made, it's only a GOOD game, meh", those people are right it's a good game. If people play a game just because they expect it to be the best game ever made, they are diluting themselves and they are setting themselves up to be disappointed. This game is a hundreds of hours romp through a great CRPG, that will leave you excited to wasteland 3. Hell I need to get back into the directors cut. ;) This game is great, it is fun, it will leave you wanting more. Well done.
Game is really fun, but corrupt saves and save losses really put a damper on the overall experience. If you make sure to regularly back up your saves you'll be fine, otherwise you'll lose dozens of hours of progress.
If you were one of those dudes trolling No Mutants Allowed forums back in the day, Wasteland 2 & 3 are the closest things we have to an updated isometric Fallout experience. There are a lot of great reviews that speak more to the game as a whole, but there are two things I want to focus on that, in my opinion, represent the highs and lows of Wasteland 2 (and the series). Party Creation: It took me a minute to understand, but once I realized that my party of Rangers functions the same as my solo cRPG/Fallout 1 & 2 character, I was fully onboard. Give your Rangers flaws, make them weird, make things goofy, but for the love of God make sure you min/max your party at least a little bit. There are no generalists in the Desert Rangers. Every member of this A-Team should play a specific role and be competent in that specific role. If you do this, the game is a ton of fun right from the beginning. I have grown to absolutely love party creation over a single character and I hope more cRPGs embrace this. Design Philosophy: Much of my frustrations with Wasteland 2 was addressed in Wasteland 3, which, I think is the better game. Wasteland 2's major flaws come from certain design philosophies that feel archaic and fail to recognize that most people don't want a better-looking Wasteland 1. They want a modern Wasteland 1, which I believe Wasteland 3 is. The greatest example I can think of are quest objects and keys stored in your inventory. For both item types, you need to have them either queued up in a quickslot or find in the correct item in your inventory and right click to use. For some gamers, especially the die hard No Mutants Allowed crowd, this could be awesome. But for the majority of players it feels very counter-intuitive to have systems in place that sometimes require the player to find the specific item, right-click use it, then highlight over the appropriate door/object, instead of simply right-clicking the door/object and being prompted to use the item in question. Especially because skills tend to work as the latter - very rarely did I have to click on the skill and then click on the item in question. But the few times I did have to do this, I found it frustrating and confusing. In general, whenever this would occur and I had trouble digging through my inventory, I would check to see if it was a bugged quest. Sometimes it was, but more often than not, I had just missed the correct item in my inventory. Is this on me? Yes. But does that make it good game design? I would say no, and I believe that's why they updated it for Wasteland 3. Overall: This is a strange series because I would recommend every Wasteland game, but would highly encourage you to start with the Wasteland 3 and work your way back towards 1. Wasteland 3 is super accessible and will help you understand the core mechanics that are present throughout the series, like party creation. Wasteland 2 is big, beautiful, and frustrating. Wasteland 1 is next on my list. I hear great things and also hear it is very unkind.
The original inspired a slew of awesome games, so I was thrilled when W2 was announced. My enthusiasm evaporated quickly. The game is riddled with counter-intuitive and often downright illogical design choices, it obfuscates choices to the point, where you almost wonder if it's by design. The pacing is all over the place and the game continuously fails to communicate what it actually wants you to do, while punishing you for not guessing right. Now I enjoy a punishing experience as much as the next guy, but all in all, It makes for a very poor first impression. W2 lacks the charm, wit and interesting settings of its inspirations, that kept you coming back, while keeping all of their flaws. I cannot recommend it.
Wasteland 2 is an awesome isometric turn based rpg and the successor to the original wasteland and the turn based fallout games. If you love those original fallout games then there is no doubt you will love this.
This half-breed between XCOM and Fallout could have been more than an excellent game were it not so terribly buggy to the point that mechanics, sidequest, NPCs etc. just don't work properly to be able to actually enjoy the game for what it was meant to be.
Gameplay ruined with weapon jam after weapon jam after weapon jam - who thought this frequency was a fun idea? And the best? Dont bother equipping two guns because if one gets a jam so instantly does the other! Wow, its contagious now? Surprised they didnt include breaking machettes just for the hell of it. Two missions in and Im out for good.
