Very specific game where the only goal is to relax and switch off Your brain. almost no skills involved :)
Too much RNG. Main map progression is RNG. The map layout is RNG. Mission selection (which is limited to one at a time) is RNG. Missions being available at all is RNG. Store selection is RNG. Everything is RNG and it sucks. It will stump your progression in its tracks unless you are willing to spend hours jumping around systems looking for what you need. Combat is really fast. Too fast. Everything dies in 2 seconds. View is way too zoomed in. Causes so much ramming. AI loves to RAM. Pathfinding is terrible. Auto pilot is nonfunctional once you get a cruiser. The progression is made extremely grindy to force you to repeat the same exact RNG objectives for dozens of hours to see it to its end. Despite there being minimal steps and variety it's still EXTREMELY grindy for some reason. On top of that most of the game is like a repetitive tech demo. The main story is very limited and split in 3 (you can only do one line per playthrough.) $15 for a glorified tech demo is kinda odd. When this game released it was competing with SPAZ, Elite, and others. This one doesn't feel worth it.

A boring generic story in a boring generic sci fi setting filled with boring generic random missions. Combat is a bit fun and interesting with loading the ships, but it all boils down to feeling sameish very, very fast. The "procedurally generated" map and missions and dialogue I suppose are just random without any meaningful or sensible algorithm behind. What little tactical choice there is to play the game resides in deciding how far you can detour to avoid crowded enemy bases while still reaching the next station to fuel up.
A basic, but enjoyable, space sim game that's completely ruined by that fact that it requires a active internet connection to launch. Even if you're wanting to play single player. Do they disclose that they are using a form of always-on DRM? Scummily, no.
Way more fun than I expected. Basic space RPG with some questing. I enjoyed it for what it was.
Its a blast! Played for 3 hours so far. Looking forward to exploring more of the storyline and experimenting with different classes.
Addictive game well worth the money.
It's pretty chill. I'm guessing the current version of the game is better than it was at launch? Seems fine to me other than I just blew up and lost all my stuff due to ramming into objects while trying to fight a merchant. Dying once after 3 hours is not bad, but I can see why the movement stuff is frustrating for people. Still, I've had this game for a while and should've played it sooner I suppose. It's like a simpler version of Eve
It was an ok game for the time it came out because it didn't have much competition. But nowadays there are other games in the same genre that are much better than this. In my opinion it doesn't worth the asking price, Buy only on very deep sale. I would thumb it up if it was much cheaper.
Lets you pick 'Male' & 'Female', not just 'body type 1' & 'body type 2'.
