I love dungeon crawlers and this is top 10% out there

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Better than the first game, which was also good.
I liked Vaporum for what it was - a somewhat simple grid-based dungeon crawler with some interesting additions such as gadgets (think spells) and different circuit lines for additional skills and build variety. I was kind of looking forward to Vaporum: Lockdown, but I just can't really get into it. I think the main issue with it is that it's just Vaporum again. I don't really mean that facetiously either - it's literally the same game. The UI is the same, the environmental graphics are the same (with very few new additions), the enemies are almost entirely the same, the gadgets and weapons and armors are mostly the same as well. Every aspect of this game has a few new additions, but also almost everything that was already in the first game, which makes it feel more like a DLC than an actual new game. Hence it also plays exactly the same, with the same rig choices and so on. Of course, the actual levels are new, but due to the environments being so reskinned, it doesn't really feel as new as it should. But that's ok - it is a prequel after all, and I don't necessarily fault the developer for reusing assets of a solid game (though it sucks that so many gameplay elements are mostly the same, down to the items). The bigger problem is that, somehow, it feels less satisfying to play. I think it's because there are so many more puzzles and much less combat. This makes combat much easier too because you only have few enemies at a time to content with, often only one or two. Combat in Vaporum was never that hard except on the highest difficulty, so making it even easier sucks. The fact that there are so many more puzzles is also not great, because they aren't the "fun" kind of puzzles, but the tedious "I know what I have to do, but I need to spend the next 5-10 minutes moving blocks" kind. Also, many more puzzles are now timed, with barely any mistakes allowed, which just doesn't work well in a grid-based game such as this. And the story is...well, just there. I would recommend the original Vaporum whole-heartedly if you like Grimrock and other old-school grid-based dungeon crawlers. It's really solid. Lockdown, though, makes changes in the wrong places and is almost entirely rethreading old ground rather than building on what works and adding more variety, so personally I didn't have a lot of fun before I decided to quit.
I didn't find this one to be as enjoyable as the first. Consider it on sale if you want, but I would recommend something else instead like Grimrock, Starcrawlers, Bioshock, or Might Magic Legacy X. +Visuals +Variety of options, settings +Sound design +Key rebinding +Auto, manual, and quick saving +Difficulty options +Voiced intro and dialogue +Variety of interactables, puzzles +Choice of rig/class +Skill choices on level up +Variety of weapons and gadgets -Lacking story, most through notes -Long-winded dialogue, intro -Many obtuse puzzles -Frequent instant-death traps -Invincible enemy gimmicks -Ammo limitations -Some softlocks possible if items lost/used -Lacking music -Unclear direction -Slow pacing
Peak Fixed some issues with the first game, but also added its own ones.
It's been a long time since I last played original Vaporum, so it was an enjoyable experience.
Ennek a telepítése: -könyvtár - jobb egérrel katt a játék címére - tulajdonságok - telepített fájlok - böngészés - katt a játék főkönyvtárára. (a játék címére) Ha ezzel megvagy, google: Vaporum: Lockdown magyarítás.
- So fun to play, rating 93/100
