Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Valheim is a collaborative exploration and survival game for 1-10 players set in a procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology. Craft powerful weapons, construct elaborate halls, and slay mighty foes to prove yourself to Odin!

Discover an immersive procedurally generated world, with different biomes that each have their distinct environments, unique resources and dangerous enemies. Become a Viking and sail the open seas in search of lands unknown, alone or with up to nine friends!

The Tenth World has been corrupted by hateful forces, in the shape of mighty regional bosses known as the Forsaken. Hone your skills with axes, blades and bows, and prepare yourself by crafting the very best equipment – for it is only by defeating these Forsaken that you will advance in your progress and prove yourself to the Allfather.

Raise Viking longhouses and build bases that offer reprieve from the dangers ahead. Whether you build a small shelter, an entire village or a mountain-side fortress, defence and structural integrity are important, as is decorating it for maximum comfort!

As you discover new materials, you will learn new recipes for crafting, building and cooking – all that a Viking might need! The food system is rewarding rather than punishing, granting you boons and benefits depending on what you eat, and is directly tied to the combat system, where your health and stamina might be just the thing that makes a difference between life and death.
Community-translated languages
In addition to the officially supported languages, Valheim has several community-translated languages. As the name would suggest, these are all translated by fans and members of the community, and the process is frequently ongoing. Thus, we cannot guarantee the quality or completeness of any specific translation.
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Valheim could be an amazing game. The world is beautiful, exploration can be genuinely great, and I really like the building system. Unfortunately, vanilla Valheim seems to be designed around one core principle: waste as much of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time as possible. Almost every mechanic has some extra layer of unnecessary annoyance attached to it. Stamina makes moving and fighting tedious. Food becomes another job. Inventory management is miserable. Mining is grindy, smelting needs babysitting, and hauling tons of metal across the map because portals arbitrarily refuse to teleport it turns a Viking adventure into a logistics simulator. And the progression is just awful. Enter a new biome, get your ass destroyed, spend hours grinding the new material, make slightly better gear, move to the next biome and repeat the whole thing again. This isn't difficulty. It's just tedium. The most frustrating part is that there is actually a fantastic survival game buried underneath all this crap. Install some mods, increase stack sizes and resource drops, enable crafting from containers, fix stamina and remove some of the pointless restrictions — and suddenly Valheim becomes fun. Vanilla Valheim, though? I genuinely have no idea how anyone with a job, hobbies and a life outside this game has the patience for it.

This isn't a survival game at all. This is a resource gather/mindless farming simulator that just demands that you kill a very large number of rare enemies before finally getting your hands on the components you need to travel to the next area and repeat the process over and over
I absolutely love Valheim. Playing on a server with my friends makes the experience even better, and there’s honestly a little bit of everything to enjoy. I love the open-world exploration, building, crafting, foraging, sailing, and just wandering around seeing what we can find. The atmosphere and music are especially great and give the game this surprisingly cozy feeling. There’s something really relaxing about gathering materials, sailing around, or working on a base with your friends. Of course, sometimes Valheim likes to remind you that you are, in fact, mortal 😂 The grind can be a lot, and while I actually enjoy the grind, it can definitely get frustrating. The skill system is probably one of my biggest love/hate relationships with the game. Dying causes your skills to drop, which can put you into a frustrating cycle of trying to rebuild your skills while also trying not to die again. Sometimes it feels like you're finally getting better, only to die and have to work your way back up. It's stressful, but somehow that makes the relaxing moments feel even better. There's something really satisfying about finally making progress after struggling for a while. Overall, Valheim is one of those games where I can spend hours just doing whatever I feel like doing. Build a house, go sailing, explore, fight monsters, gather resources, or just hang out with friends. Definitely recommend it if you enjoy open-world survival, crafting, exploration, and games that can somehow be both cozy and terrifying at the same time.
Valheim may have been a precursor to survival games, but after all these years of development it feels stuck in the past. Combat is terrible, building is basic and clunky, the interface lacks QoL, the UI is outdated, and enemies are uninspired. Valheim could have been innovative in its early access days, but now it’s just a rusty relic—rigid, outdated, and devoid of any innovation that could have made it great back then. And honestly, there are far better survival games out there nowadays.
Extremely pretty and extremely cozy. Way too grindy for me and each zone is basically the same progression as the last. Combat never felt engaging. No auto sort, no auto store, all that stuff that makes this genre more manageable. This review would be positive 6 years ago but in 2026 I'd recommend different options. Unless you are modding the ♥♥♥♥ out of it and changing all the default settings.
я даже не заметил, что игра в раннем доступе, контента море!

I have played this game for a lot of hours, I have enjoyed this game. I have watched it over the years. And have been disappointed. The devs have been both glacially slow in making progress, dropped promised features, and are actively hostile to the playerbase. Examples: The Ocean biome - it was on the initial roadmap; I understand timelines and plans change, but basically leaving it untouched for 5 years, then claiming a 1.0 release, that's just dropping something that should have been here. Trashing items - The game had no ability to get rid of unneeded items for years, and everyone complained. The devs said no, repeatedly. Until finally giving in - but doing it spitefully by making it a mid-game unlocked item, that when you use it damages everything in a wide area near it. This made it technically possible to remove items, but not in a very useful way. Item Handling - For quite some time, the devs have been strongly against QoL features such as Quick Stacking, Take All, Craft from Chest, and so on. They not long back relented on Quick Stack and Take All, though only on individual containers, no single stack to nearby chests, and continue to say no to Craft from Chest. These lack of features means that modding is really a necessity for me to enjoy the game. Which is another hostile move by the devs. Bringing the game to 1.0 they added achievements. But any sort of mod disables them. So they refuse to make improvements to the game, and push people to mods, and then punish them for using the mods. Of course, the modders worked around it within hours, but that's simply a lack of competence on the dev side. Lastly, the community. Because it took 5 years, the community ended up with only the most emotionally invested players, and the level of toxicity is ridiculous. I have seen less "git gud" gatekeeping in CoD and Dark Souls communities. It's really a shame, because the community is damaging a game that could be an absolute classic. So despite having played a lot, and planning to play more (with mods), I can't recommend this game, because the only way to make any progress in improving the game is to make the devs see it.
Grass pop-in issue has existed since the game first released into EA and it still exists on "full release" lmao. The current community shills will just scream "just download a mod to fix it, I love this game!" meanwhile they have to mod EVERYTHING to where the base game isn't even recognizable. Lazy ass devs that struck gold and have been cashing out ever since. No effort needed!
Ashlands is my favorite part of this game. Valheim offers some of the best atmosphere and building I have seen in almost any game, the ambience, the music, the exploration is truly wonderful. It is difficult yes, and you will die, but ultimately the game pushes you forward slowly but surely through each biome. The meadows start off strong with visually one of the best soundtracks in gaming, and the black forest makes for a quick change of environs to show you just how rich things can be. If you are lucky in the distance early on you will find a mountain with impassable cold, each detail for the world leading you onto the next. It is a wonderful journey and discovering new items to build new things to make new weapons and armors and decorations is truly some of the best hours I have spent in gaming. Ashlands is my favorite biome for all of these reasons. It takes everything above, the exploration, the vistas, the ambience, the joy of gearing up, and it wraps them all up nicely in a present with a neat little bow. It then takes that present, and positions itself precariously above it, and you wonder what it could be doing with such joy. It then squashes it, the whole thing, and hands it too you. Ashlands, contains nothing but broken fragments of the rest of the game, and its worst bits magnified. Combat is frustrating, not brutal. Exploration is tedious, not rewarding. Ambience is dead, not desolate. It is an ugly, awful, massively disappointing hellscape that masquerades as a battlefield biome, when in actuality it is about as deep as a roblox zombie wave fighting game. Not a single things does this biome do better than any of the others you experience, everything about it from start to finish is just purely the worst experiences in valheim. There is no reward in overcoming it, there is no joy in exploring it, there is nothing about this biome that is redeemable. It ruins the rest of valheim by merely existing, in stark contrast to hours of a better game, and pretending to be somehow much more than that. There will be people who will tell you on every post about it that its been nerfed, its easier, its simple. Those people are lying to you and themselves. They will tell you that it has amazing gear, that you need to use siege weapons, and that you shouldn't build bases in the ashlands, bring very little and do short excursions. They are all lying to you, and I will tell you the only thing you need to know about ashlands; there is one singular best weapon in the game for this biome and it is from the beginning of the game. The Hoe. Dirt pillars is your big warfare tool, you need nothing else. No planning, strategy, no build optimizing or food buff will outweigh the usefulness of simply dirt pillaring your way through this biome. "But why is ashlands your favorite biome?" Its simple, really. Ashlands shows me how much I love everything about this game. It shows me how much the views of the world matter, the small moments of exploration building little bases and campfires with friends, the travel to new lands and the cooking of food at home. The building of farms and castles, sailing and fishing, the calm music and the raging storms. I love it all so much, and ashlands shows me a world without any of that. I am so excited for the next biome, for 1.0 now Because whatever it is, it will not be ashlands, and that is always an improvement.
