UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Barbuta is so good like wowee I have spent at least 50 hours alone in that castle! I have never ever died either (many such cases) so I know everything about Barbuta and I can say that my favourite part is the hidden passageway that leads to a room with a massive naked Wario statue and he is strokin' it!! I will let you in on a little secret, if you type mogus sussy into the dev console in the Wario room and then jump 3 times the screen will flash blue then red then green 6 times in that order and then teleport you to the final boss fight but now the final boss is naked Wario and beating him unlocks a secret achievement. Barbuta is great!!! oh also there are like 49 other games I guess they are good too I haven't played them so idk.
Amazing game collection with so many genres of games. From puzzle games to rougelikes, anyone who loves the classics is sure to find at least 10 games they love here.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This was impossible to make with this amount of quality and they made it happen. Puts modern games to shame! Highly recommend 1000% to all gaming fans!!
An absolutely incredible game/collection of games. GOTY 2025 for me. Nothing has ever reminded me so much of digging through old NES/SNES/Gameboy games as a kid, seeing unfamiliar titles and popping in a cartridge to try a game for the first time. Sometimes the game would be a dud, but sometimes it would turn out to be a favorite for years to come. UFO 50 is like purified nostalgia, with genuinely good games to back it up. Are you going to like every single one? No, but that's okay. There's so much variety here that you're going to find plenty of games you like, and even a few you love. Other than the nostalgia, and the mystery box excitement of trying out each new game, UFO 50 is a pretty hard experience to pin down because each game is so different. There are adventure games, shooting games, racing games, collecting, deckbuilding, arena combat, survival horror, heist, puzzle, sports, fighter, strategy, platformer, tower defense, 4X, top-down, side-scrolling, easy, difficult, etc. Some I loved so much I wish they had 5 sequels. Some I was glad to play a few times, but don't feel like going back to. Some I beat first try, while some took dozens of hours, dozens of tries, or me sitting down with a pen and paper to map out the game. The fictional lore and stylistic details are just icing on the cake, though it is delicious icing. Some personal favorites include Into the Breach-style space bug extermination, sci-fi Lemmings with Lost Vikings mechanics, Dinosaur Civ, Old West heists, party-themed roguelite deckbuilder, strategic medieval frisbee combat, and point-and-click survival horror.
Ufo mi arma, un juego fenomenal.
After 50 hours on UFO 50, now I am become 50 PLAY FOREVER
Remember those chinese consoles with 50 crappy games in 1 that your mom used to give you for Christmas? This game is basically the same thing, except all the games are phenomenal and, most importantly, fun.
it's kinda hard to review this thoroughly because of how much variety there is, but it's definitely worth picking it up just to jump around and play things at random. pretty much every genre you'd expect for the 80s/early 90s is covered so there's something for almost everyone however i want the person who made barbuta fired because who makes a metroidvania with no save system and limited lives. why would you do this. you are a menace to society.
