Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Contrary to the overall premise of the game you can play as a 'good guy'. but that takes some thinking about which, in the end, makes a really good game even better. Like all Obsidian isometric games right back to Icewind Dale, it doesn't put a foot wrong.
Every choice matters and the variety of endings you can get is truly amazing. This is one of the most interactive games I have every played with one of the most unique and original settings. The hype towards the end of the game had me frothing from the mouth. the only negatives is that party member are more connected to the world and setting than they are to the player. Its not as an personal relationship with the characters, that's not to say you won't care for em its just not exactly the sort of we are all friends vibe like in other games like mass effect. The combat and levelling is a hurdle to get through and there aren't really any build guides online that explain it very well. Meaning you are either going to replay chapter 1 and 2 until you find something that works or you are going to drop the difficulty. There also wasn't as wide a variety in enemies, however this was counterbalanced by the crazy amount of factions that I got to interact with. Oh an no romance options (for those that care) I personally don't really care but it is something to note cause some people will see that as a bumber. All in all 9/10 sooooo close to being a ten out of ten. THEY NEED TO MAKE A SEQUEL!!! All the elements are here for them to make a 10/10 game and I really want to keep exploring the unique and thrilling world of tyranny.

Amazing Character Creation but after this the game falls a bit flat. Combat is repetitive and slow, the game constantly throws huge walls of text at you. just an unsatisfying experience. Came into this with high hopes after Pillars but left sorely disappointed and never finished
No, not for me. It starts exciting but that dropped with every conquest step, with choices between rocks and hard places. The first conversation wasn't better and with the first fight i lost all interest in the fate of my character or any other person in this world.
A unique take on morality, agency and law that only a videogame could achieve.
Loving the world, but also the magic system and the faction reputation system. Can't believe I never played this to now.
While not as difficult, complex, or long as the other Obsidian CRPGs that sandwich it, it makes up for that by having far superior writing and reactivity. You can even customize the setup of the world before even engaging in the tutorial and this has a variety of dynamic effects over the course of the game. Brilliant release but it will sadly fade to obscurity as both Obsidian and Paradox ignore its existence.
A good classic, hurts to call it that but Obsidian has shown this is the type of game they can't make anymore so definitely feels like it fits. It's a great CRPG with an immersive world and many options including killing half the people you would otherwise recruit when you meet them.
