this is the game ive been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waiting for!
OVERALL 9/10 It's a steal for it's price!! Just bought this game because i see the developer youtube channel, and did want to support for all his cool interviews and help on the game dev community. I didn't follow this game development at all. PROS: music: excellent graphics: excellent combat: excellent telephone: excellent (i'm not sure if my game had some kind of bug, but i kept hearing telephones the full run, even restarting the game) boss fight: very easy, but very cool mechanic NEUTRAL: story: find charlotte... CONS: slide on c: i might be bad, but used alot of healing candy trying to slide mid-combat fight events: weirdly, when combat theme starts, the enemies take a minute to start appearing, and if you just kill them fast enough, it's like you vs one enemy almost all the time. They should have spawn faster to make combat even harder, and to feel suffocated. (only around 2-3 fights didn't have this issue for me)

Janky, but it's not like we're getting another Bioshock anytime soon, so might as well roll with it.
A must play! If you play Bioshock, this is the game for you.
Good game
I was a part of the beta testing for the game and I gotta say, this really surprised me. The level of polish alone makes this worth it in my opinion. Game dev is hard man. Sometimes you just gotta get a project out even if it has flaws. I think this is better than a lot of indie releases I've seen. And with the name "Atmos Games" I expected the atmosphere to be the best part and it definitely is. The old BioShock music and ambience, also the many unexpected scares was really unnerving. I think it's very worth it to play through this at least once. Or just stand in the lobby and listen to that haunting song, peak game.
Geiler kurzer Shooter. Lohnt sich
Big Thomas Brush fan, literally watch every single one of his YT vids as I'm an indie developer myself. It's awesome to see much of the game that I watched him develop, turn into fruition. Literally walked around and saw set pieces that I'd tune in to watch him develop live. Very cool. That being said, this is a very interesting and fun game. Only have two MAJOR gripes with it: 1.) Please fix the maze level. I almost uninstalled the game cause I got turned around 3 separate times. 2.) Please add more ammo drops. Nothing more infuriating than spending loads of tickets to upgrade weapons and then having to resort to hammer cause you run out of ammo. The guns also need to be stronger than the mallet. 3.) The story (and this isn't a major gripe... just something that needs more polish)... didn't make sense. I know Thomas feels like he is a great storyteller... but this was not it. Aside from that, beautiful art, solid gameplay, good puzzles, great maps, just needs a few small items of polish and it's a GREAT game.
It's fine. And in 2026 that's not really enough. Great voice acting, but the shooting is forgettable, and the story at the end is trying way too hard to the point of descending into nonsense. The concept and look of the game is a lot of fun, but what it becomes is you enter a room, the room locks, enemies rush you, and then it unlocks when they're dead. Repeat for six hours. It also has a bad habit of playing a loud noise whenever an enemy "surprises" you, going for cheap jump scares. The levels suffer from having a lot of drops which kill you, while one of the primary navigation mechanics you gain half-way is a really long dash that loves to take you further than you think it will, or bounce you off walls by ledges. There's a lot of platforming, and platforming in FPSs is something that Half-Life showed didn't work in games not designed entirely around it (like Mirror's Edge), and no one has changed my mind since. There are too also many guns, with a good third not appearing until right near the end of the game. I will give credit though to the encounter balance. I think there's some auto-balancing going on with the loot you get, but it does lead to encounters on Hard difficulty feeling like you're in danger, while still making sure you have enough to get through them. Credit to the team for that. Overall, as a cheap filler FPS it's OK. But I think you can do better.
Man will immer wieder kucken was einem an der nächsten Ecke erwartet.
