After around 10 hours, I can safely say that Twisted Tower is a damn good time. The relentless retro FPS action is easily the highlight. Combat is fast, intense and consistently fun, especially on the higher difficulties. There’s enough enemy variety to keep encounters from becoming repetitive, and the game does a great job of keeping the pressure on without feeling exhausting. Atmosphere-wise, Twisted Tower absolutely nails it. It’s creepy, spooky and intense, with visuals that remind me of FPS games from the early 2010s — in the best possible way. And the art style? Chef’s kiss. Easy recommendation if you like BioShock, fast-paced FPS combat, atmospheric games, or preferably all three. Especially at this price point.
This game is pretty fun so far, I've only played 40-ish minutes but I can see myself sinking hours into this game. The combat is simple and fun, movement is okay, the atmosphere is by far the best aspect of them game. Not bad. I'd recommend it for $15.

Will update review later, but so far I am really enjoying the mood, audio, and feedback of everything. Generally just feels good!
8/10
Brilliant boomer shooter with great style, a few puzzles and hidden secrets to find. for the price this is a 100% a no brainer. It is not Bioshock!!! get over it... it was made by a small team with a lot of talent, and I hope they keep make more games. Buy the game, grab your boom stick and shoot stuff! Best tenner I spend in years!
its great!, its impressive that a small team can pull off so much polish
The atmosphere and the interactivity with the environment is simple and wonderful. It does make you feel like ur gf was kidnapped. One odd thing is that all the secrets so far are too easy to find, I'm thinking back on Quake 2's secrets are not findable unless you are somehow lucky, that should be the way to handle them. A regular player should not find any of the secrets if any, and I am the regular player.
PROS: - Good and straightforward level design that is easy to navigate without ever feeling annoyingly lost. - Good overall pacing. The game keeps you constantly moving without taking away control or forcing you to wait around unnecessarily. - Good voice acting across all characters. - Nice variety of enemy designs. - Good variety of weapons to use. - Smooth controls and satisfying combat. - Enough story and interesting characters to effectively carry the gameplay. - Good price for the amount of content offered. CONS: Towards the very end of the game, I began experiencing serious lag spikes during combat sections in the open areas. This significantly hurt my enjoyment and motivation to continue playing and finish the game. However, by that point, I still felt that I had gotten my money's worth from the game. Overall, the game was a fun and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
bioshock esque game, decent graphics, made me jump a couple times. good punchy sound effects :P and its a game u can pick up, beat and either move on or keep going with new alternate runs. i like that...not a bloated game for time padding sake.
