No-Spoiler Review: Difficulty > Serve Me Pain (Ultraviolence)
Played to clear my revival FPS backlog—a genre I love—I started with low expectations as a fast-paced multi/solo FPS veteran who's seen a lot. I chose "Serve Me Pain" following the game's recommendation: Overkill mode demands all perks to be playable, but I think it's doable.
Chapter 1:
Solid but overhyped—classic, fluid, vertical chaos overloaded with effects. Indie cyberpunk Doom Eternal clone, mid-tier at best.
Chapter 2:
Slapped me awake. Faster pace, thoughtful fights (weapon/perks/path/target choices). Narration clicks, levels expand, new monsters force quick tactics, base guns upgrade. Non-stop action festival.
Chapter 3:
Escalates harder—game go faster, new perks, more monsters/weapon ups, insane bosses. In short : Acid-raged solo fast FPS à la Doom Eternal in a well made CyberPunk world. 15 straight hours flew by—never boring, killer soundtrack. Shower after each sessions. Grandiose & Dantesque ! Warnings: Vertigo risk.
Late-level fights can be frustrating. Double barrels shotgun sound suck. Got a bug on final boss bug (no power-up respawns—beat it raw with my d*ck and chainsaw).
Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Maybe I am a bit fatigued with these games but its just kinda okay to me. If you love boomer shooters just play ultrakill but if you want a different one give this one a shot
Edit: Bought the art book and it has GenAI text in it. Sadly, an update borked the audio. So now the game is an inferior experience unless you can get a very old build of the game to play on. Aside from that, the game is cool but also an exercise in wasted potential. Level design is horrible to follow, gun balance is meh with some weapons being far above others and some encounter designs are so out of place it breaks the immersion. I kept playing because I love the genre and kept hoping the game will shape up later. Don't waste your time like I did.
I was not expecting this game to deliver as much as it did. A roughly 14 hour long story campaign that was written better than most movies nowadays with both a very good soundtrack and an extremely addicting gameplay loop. My only two complaints is that I feel like the game was too long for its short, repetitive gameplay loop, and that there were a few times I got stuck out of bounds unable to go back and thus have to use a checkpoint. Solid 9/10, very very good game and highly underrated.

FFS fix the audio mixing in this game, I can't hear a damn thing
Turbo Overkill is a very good game.
One of the best modern FPS games out there. Cleary inspired by both Doom Eternal & Ultrakill, this game manages to be its own thing by having a clear, bold vision with tons of personality. Every gun feels great and wrecks mayhem, the movement is fast, and there's different upgrade choices to purchase. The levels get ambitious and jaw-dropping, specially considering this is an indie game made by basically 1 single person... holy crap that's impressive. Please play this amazing game, you'll have a lot of fun! Also, there's MANY references to Cyberpunk works, other FPS and even my dear Chainsaw Man hehehe...
Kaкашкa.
