TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children is the first season of a turn-based strategy SRPG that takes place in the world of Troubleshooter.

Valhalla is a free trading nation erected by three world powers for their own benefits after the world war. In an attempt to control the nation, the three world powers banned the army from Valhalla. Due to these circumstances, public order in Valhalla is always unstable and thus after ten years the Valhalla government made a bold decision.
The Valhalla government granted civilians the right to investigate and arrest criminals in order to lower the rising crime rate. People call them Troubleshooter.
10 years have passed since the introduction of the troubleshooter system. Albus, a 20-year-old young man, becomes an official troubleshooter. Albus first starts his company on his own but soon takes in many colleagues as he solves more cases. All these new members of the company have their own motivations and stories. You will be experiencing a variety of missions in Valhalla through their stories.

All characters in Troubleshooter have their own unique classes. Each character can rank up to the upper class, and the role of your character changes according to the class.
All characters in Troubleshooter can acquire various masteries according to their levels and classes. Furthermore, you can activate additional effects by combinations of masteries. Utilizing this, you can make a character for your unique strategy.
Such masteries can be acquired by leveling your character up. However, in most cases, you can acquire masteries from enemies. In other words, you can take your enemies' unique traits and apply them to your characters.
There are more than 100 unique missions in Troubleshooter. All missions are designed independently, and all of them have their own unique circumstances.
Troubleshooter uses more than 500 cut scenes to portray the story.
As new characters join your company, playable content will be unlocked according to their roles. For example, if you recruit a hunter character, you will be able to tame beasts. You will be able to craft drones if you recruit engineers.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have received support from the developer team after filing a bug report , and found that actually the issue was on my side. Great effort and quality by the support team to answer in very short times and providing a solution for my specific issue! so after playing for a bit I absolutelly suggest this game and positively review it. While not perfect, and some UI elements make a bit of confusion, the game is funny, it has many system that needs to be considered and it is funny to play. ORIGINAL REVIEW before receiving support: I am not happy of providing a negative review, but the game is incredibly unstable. I didn't manage to make one single mission without crashing: it crashes continuously in random moments, during dialogues,at the end of missions , at the beginning of missions... --- The game looks very nice and interesting too, I like the artstyle, from the few things that I've seen it looks very promising and funny. But I can't really play it by restarting it 5-6 times to make a mission
Great strategy RPG with a ton of different systems for customizing your characters. My only complaint is the translations could be better. It's passable, but the slightly off translations for all the various mechanics and information can make it take a little longer to parse things than it should.
I have been playing this for while now so I felt I needed to post a review. This game is a great and has a huge amount of build variety. The good Combat: It is your Xcom style turn based combat but with hero characters that each have their own special abilities. Build variety: Each character has multiple abilities and classes you can shift between to see what fits. Add a huge list of masteries (They are character buffs that change or improve how the character plays) and mastery sets to choose from. Honestly it can be a bit much sometimes too. Characters: Each character is unique and has an interesting story tied to them. If you like character focused content then there is a lot to choose from, even if some characters don't end up joining your team that you wanted (looking at you Luna) The Ok Story: The story is alright. It is told mostly through visual novel style slides, but honestly it became waaay too convoluded by the end. Side content: It's ok, sometimes a fetch quest, sometimes a bit more involved, but considering you need to finish the finish to get the side content done, it can take a long time. For reference I try to do a good chunk of it, and I am sitting at 144 hours, without completing all the main story missions., The bad The big raids: When it comes to missions even a regular mission can take 30+ minutes, but the big raids take way longer. They are also at a much higher difficulty because the sheer number of units and bosses that you can beat. Yes, you can leave early and that was probably the intention, but since the best gear usually appears in those raids, it makes it a real slog to farm those. Some missions: Some missions are just not fun. Snipers with insta-kill protection, all enemies delay your teams turns, and every single room is a kill box against you. There isn't a lot, but enough to be annoying. Doing these can take easily over an hour so feel free to cheat to save time. To summarize, this game is massive. You are getting your moneys worth and then some. If you have any interest in xcom or turn based combat with hero units, this is a must buy, just be wary of the time sink that it may require and don't be afraid to look up builds online
This is easily one of my favorite games. I love tactical games (XCOM is another one of my favorites), but this one nails it in such a different but fun way! There are over 600+ masteries (i.e. skills) to choose from, and you come mix and match them in any way you want. It may sound daunting, but they've aced the progression to make it very manageable. For one, it's limited by class. For another, you don't have access to them all at once, but rather you unlock as you finish more missions and defeat more enemies. The one that helps the most is that you can combine specific masteries into a mastery set for a combo effect, so it really influences/guides you on what to build. If I had one bad thing to say about it, the story is kinda hard to follow. One example is that from story mission to story mission, enemies you've fought and arrested are somehow back on the streets. There are some logical/plot jumps that you probably have to make in the background that aren't explicitly shown, so that's one thing to take note of. But I would still rate this game 10/10. The combat is addicting, building the perfect character is loads of fun, and the story—while confusing at times—is still engaging and meaningful. Really some awesome developers. I'm really looking forward to their next game!

I don't know why I passed over giving this a recommendation for so long. Honestly, for the value, time, effort the devs put into this and just the sheer amount of game play, that alone makes this a steal at full price. That said, I'm not going to sugar coat it; Its not a game for everyone. There is a reason its called "anime Xcom" and if you understand that, then you understand how frustrating it is to see "90% chance to hit" and then miss those 50% of the time. Still, the game and characters are wonderful. The story gets deeper than it has any right to. I am not actually a fan of the sequel being made that is going to do away with our loveable cast of characters as it doesn't feel like their story finishes...but that to me is more so because this cast is so amazing I just want to see their story go on and on. So...if you like story and can deal with a little mechanical frustration that you can in true RPG fashion outlevel and perform over time, I highly recommend it. Some of the writing can be corny and its a slow burn at first, but the payoffs end game are worth while...and as you can see from my over 400 hours, there is plenty of content and things to do.
