Tropico 6

This game sucks. Nothing like city builder but more like task complete chore game which gets annoying after while.

Кругом одни нищеброды, создал страну с 2 секторами, 1 - Лас-Мантос, Пуэрто-Корона (богатый сектор), 2 - Нищебродск. По итогу до 2050 года всё шло прекрасно, богачам всё нравилось, а нищета не могла приехать в столицу, т.к. там был жесткий контроль (КПП на всей дороге в столицу, казармы с военными, танки, полицейские участки, сторожевые вышки), это всё позволяло находить недовольных и нейтрализовывать их. По итогу в 2050 году эти чупакабры пробили мою оборону и пошли на столицу, т.к. я не уследил за населением и уже в Нищебродске жили 2.000 человек, а в столичных городах 1.500 (суть идеи была такова: в столице зп высокие, дома, развлечения, всё на максимум, свобода слова, независимые СМИ и т.д., а в нищебродске эксплуатация, 0 медицины и т.д.), и так как население нищебродска перевалило население столичных городов, они ринулись к моему дворцу с золотой статуей. По итогу 3 месяца шли бои в столице (300 солдат против 2.000 обезумевших нищих)... В конце концов они победили моих солдат и побежали атаковать дворец, а мне пришлось уплывать на своей золотой яхте с украшениями и золотой статуей. Вечно им что-то не нравится...!

Tropico 4 and 5 is better with more of an original story. The story is just an assortment of missions together that are mostly references to movies.

I suppose after 160 hours of playing would be good time to write a review. First, I would like to make it a point that I have a hard time recommending games that have more than 2 or 3 paid DLC. I personally find it to be greedy and in most cases, not worth the money. I enjoy this game and yet I have only one DLC, the El Prez Upgrade. I got them in a bundle on sale some time ago. With that being said, after playing a fair bit of this game, I have no urge to purchase any other of the DLC's. This game is good just as vanilla. Sandbox maps are loaded with options to customize to your playstyle and difficulty preference across pretty well all aspects of the game. Be it political, environmental, social or what have you. They are all adjustable. You can even activate certain options in creative mode, handy if you want to play without having to rebuild half your city to get at new resources or for when resources are depleted. There are a few QoL things that could still be implimented in this game, but they really are minor things, to be honest. The mission maps are... not great. Even on hard mode they aren't overly challenging. Hell, if you play around in sandbox for a while and get a feel for the mechanics, the missions can become absolutely trivial even on hard. It would have been so much better if they had divided the current missions into 3 groups and labelled them as tutorials. That would have given them a chance to make an actual mission/story separately that could've been a conquering of islands or countries tale. Maybe that'll be the idea in 7. Who knows? Overall, I do recommend this game. It's fun and you can customize your own challenge rating as you see fit. I can't bring myself to bother with all the DLC, but if that's something in your wheelhouse, then go for it.
