BUYER BEWARE!! This game contains a lot of strong themes and imagery involving death. This game is a work of art! It kind of reminds me of Furi with its stylish presentation and satisfying combat. Overall, I had a lot of fun, and while the story is decent, the gameplay is what kept me hooked. My biggest complaint is the puzzles near the end of the game. They felt unnecessary and really slowed down the pacing. I found myself wanting to get back to the combat instead. I'd also recommend starting on Ronin difficulty for your first run to save yourself an extra playthrough later. (Unlocks hardest mode)

LOS CONTROLES SON BASURA
The visuals and graphics of the game are amazing I really liked the first 3 chapters. The story and voice acting, along with the great visuals really made the game outstanding to me. Then the next 3 chapters dragged on over and over the same fights, the same voice overs the same thing that by the end of chapter 6, even the main character was asking when it would be over. The last chapter brought back all the good parts from the first 3, and even had a really cool action piece in the middle. My main complaint is that the combat is just not balanced. It "can" be fun, sometime, but mostly it's frustrating. Some enemies stagger you so much you never get a chance to attack. I recommend standing still, and being aggressive as they come towards you, otherwise you will get hit for no reason other than the game doesn't want you to go hit less. The differences in the difficulty has a huge margin. Easy mode is too easy and normal is too hard. Some balance in the combat and tightening up the middle chapters would take the game from a solid 70% to a 100%. I recommend buying on sale and playing when you want a short game with good graphics and music.

I'm not going to write an entire book on what is wrong with this game. The game mechanics are kinda crappy, the fighting is sometimes unresponsive. Even with all of that though, I completed the game. The visuals and the audio are amazing, the way the gameplay plays out is beautiful. I just wish the mechanics weren't as broken and unresponsive as they are. Also...the final fight felt like I was up against a 5 year old button mashing me as they pinned me into a corner so that I couldn't move. So yeah, play it if you want, its an okay game.
