Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Break free of the grid in Town to City: a cozy city builder that invites you to create a beautiful and bustling community.
Freely place houses, shops, and amenities and natural elements to delight your residents and encourage new families to move in. As your population grows, so can your ambitions: create multiple towns that can grow alone or thrive together, helping the whole region develop and prosper.
In story or sandbox mode, you're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision, or prioritise growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.
Truly grid-less building sets you free to lay out your town however you like. Plan out carefully ordered rows of houses and city districts, or grow outwards organically with residences, amenities, parks and plazas connected by winding streets and alleys. Freely shape the land beneath your feet with terraforming tools for elevation, water, and terrain.
Beautify your settlement to your heart's content with a plethora of customisation options. Set up lighting, plant flowers and wooded parks, and decorate houses and buildings to complement or contrast. With gorgeous voxel graphics as a base and plenty of tools for fine-tuning, it's easy to create something beautiful that you'll want to capture with the in-game photo mode or stroll through in first-person view.
As your town flourishes, you’ll need to meet the needs of your growing population. Provide amenities that will cater for everyone – from workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie – alongside specific requests by individual residents. Get to know each person as they arrive in town, and watch them settle down to form new families in the homes you built for them with pets and livestock by their side.
Assign workers to jobs, research new buildings and decorations, and boost your sleepy settlement into a bustling centre of commerce. As you expand beyond the bounds of your first town, you'll pursue new developments in farming and tourism by building new towns, all connected by trade and travel routes.

Reviews
Love this game so far.
Review: Love this one. Very relaxing, mellow soundtrack, and pleasant voxel art style that really melds everything in the game together beautifully. A lot of city builders go for a more realistic art approach and occasionally it can make things look out of place or ugly. I really enjoy the aesthetic in Town to City. Also! I love that if I want I can switch to first person and just walk around my little town. Very fun. Hopes for the future: My only gripe besides only having a few map layouts is the controls for brushes, specifically. I have tried, but couldn’t get my ideal control scheme to work for brush size (ctrl + mouse scroll). It is mildly infuriating to press a different keyboard key when I just want to quickly change brush size. But if that’s my only gripe, I think it’s fair to say this is a fantastic cozy game. I assume that’s not too difficult for the team to add in the future. I know I’ll be at 100+ hours in no time at all lol.

A low stakes city builder that manages to elicit that "one more turn" impulse with its decoration system. Every gap and empty space feels like it's begging for decorations. The decoration system is probably the most stand-out feature. The variety of props is huge and you are given tools to nudge objects with extreme precision, including clipping through other objects. In short, the game skipped people making a "place anywhere" type mod by just making it a base feature. As someone who usually doesn't care to do much decoration in city builders, I love how this game softly incentivizes it. As a final note, despite the simple art style, this game can be pretty resource intensive once your population passes around 100. My only real critique is that I wish the water had physics, but I can see that would have strained performance too much.
It's been years since I played a city builder and this was a great intro back into the genre. Super cozy and as laid back as you want it to be while still having meaningful "quests". My PC ran it just fine with no hiccups. The artwork is super cute and I know I'll be coming back to play this again and again. Also, you CAN pet that dog.
This game is highly addictive for city builder fans like me. It really helps me de-stress and forget about real-life worries. However, I wouldn't highly recommend it to everyone—if you aren't into city builders or cozy games, you'll probably get bored fast! But if you love cozy games, city builders, or just want something quiet to unwind with, then I highly recommend this game!
5 hours in and I've already gotten my money's worth for how much this has lessened my blood pressure. Extremely comfy town/city builder, very easy to place and manipulate buildings/decorations. I played the normal mode for a bit and enjoyed the guided stuff, but swapped to sandbox - both modes are fantastic, great game.
If you like city building games, i STRONGLY recommend this. Its beautiful, fun, and very easy to lose track of time playing XD in all seriousness though, the game is well made and i believe its well worth getting
