Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very Strange. But cool strange.
This was well made and polished, but I couldn't find the interest to continue after playing for quite a while. The problem with making a fantasy-style adventure game in an alternative setting of this kind is that it just doesn't feel like a good fit, at least not to me. The humour and setting just seemed like a bunch of weird stuff, and did not feel like an immersive game world at any time.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Just when I thought RPGs couldn't get deeper, Torment asked me, 'What does one life matter?' Still figuring that out 40 hours in. Storytelling genius wrapped in a world that Monte Cook himself would get lost in!
Probably my favorite CRPG before Disco Elysium. I wasn't familiar with Numenéra, which is an absolutely formidable world to explore. Be ready to read a loooooooooooooot of text, but good text. At some point I thought to myself "damn I wish this was a third person high budget game and I could look at crazy good 3D models of what is being described in the dialogues", and I realized it would have made all the magic go away. Text is evocative without being a strain. That's how good the writing is. All in all, it's an excellent follow-up to Planescape, which was "the worst CRPG in the coolest world with the best story", but this time combat is actually interesting. I have played only one run and have not experimented on the malleability of the story, but it certainly looks quite fluid. (BG3 has released since then, yes, but I'm not a fan of DnD) There's a crazy good idea in this game: it's a micro-spoiler of a key feature that you will be explained 30 minutes into playing. Your character is immortal. Death is NOT a failstate, and does not load a save. Death in combat - or elsewhere - is your character taking a nap, and things happen without them being there. "Failure" yields extremely interesting results (or frustrating depending on where you're at mentally). I died in pretty much every important situation where I had to survive the fight, and that's both hilarious and super interesting. Also Chris Avellone is a piece of crap but games aren't made by a single person.
So good has the exact feel of magic as the original
What a horribly written game.
Pretentious garbage that doesn't even realize it's supposed to be a game.
Шикарная игра, куча вайбов по planescape. Прошел на одном дыхании. Красивая история. Оом стал любимым компаньоном.
After 22 hours of esoteric nonsense, I just couldn't take it anymore. There is way way way too much dialogue and lore thrown at you. The main storyline gets sidetracked by way too many random and obscure side stories and characters that it just makes it difficult to track anything. I ended up following a guide and ignoring most of the walls of text just to realize that I was just playing the game as an attempt to just "get through it". When a game becomes a chore and a bore there is just no reason to continue so I stopped. It is just too bad as the game has a lot of potential but it just gets too bogged down and gets in the way of itself. Some people complained about the combat but I found it to be okay. The problem comes around when you want to "heal up" your party. While resting does heal your party it has big negatives to the game as time continues on and quests can fail due to this passage of time. The game punishes you for taking a rest. To me, this is the worst aspect of the game mechanics. I never did quite understand the raising of "color" stats as that is most likely an end game outcome but I will never get that far due to, well, just not caring anymore. I also used AI and guides to help me with character development and items as that part was confusing to me. If you enjoy novels and novellas of dialogue and lore, I guess this is your game. If you want to enjoy a good straightforward story and not stress over resting, look elsewhere. Game is not recommended even if on a steep discount.
This game has an amazingly skilled writing team. The different character's stories are all, each, quite impressive and engaging.
