Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is an improvement of Torchlight II via it's advanced skill/relic system, pet system, player fort customization, etc. It is a degression of Torchlight II because of it's experience and levelling system. It is too lengthy. If levelling is going to be lengthy then it is missing a specific system of character upgrade that occurs between levels that makes the grind more palatable. The overlay map seems to be stuck right in the middle of screen. It does not show all markers and there's no option to change map opacity so I can't see my character clearly. The corner map is too small. I prefer the overlay map. The background music is lack lustre. I will however disagree with many excessive critics of this game. It is a fine game not better than Torchlight 2 but it is still comparable in it's own way. It is not a bad game. I would recommend this game. Try it out yourself without prejudice. 06.04.2024 18:03 There's a guy who manages the game. He is a red racist. He has access to my device owner's name and general location so he assumed I am a Bengali and used a slang derogatory word to call me by naming a new pet loot as "Bongo". On top of that, he called me a "Dull Star" because I wouldn't play the game which I bought in the way he wanted me to. All of these interactions occurred without any direct chat. To the owners of Torchlight III: Please make sure misanthropic racist employees do not harass the customer while playing especially by naming conventions of ingame items. I bought the game for Rs 288 when there was a sale. I think that makes me a customer, right? Is this how your employees treat their customers? By harassing them inside the game? If you are so unhappy with the 288 deal we made, kindly return me my money and I'll move-on to another game. I'm not one for drama. 07.04.2024 14:28 There is a "Jester" sticker awarded to me for this review. It is shown right beside the review. This person is responsible for my harassment inside the game. I wouldn't be surprised if it's an Artificial Intelligence playing the role of doubt-seeding. The sticker is a Jester and a special helm I got inside the game is "Knave". Same person responsible for these things. Btw, if you don't know what "Knave" means, it is "a dishonest or unscrupulous man." used archaically. If it's a human, he's spineless and likes to whisper doubts and accusations indirectly. A coward of fluid morality. He doesn't know the difference between seller and customer, let alone right or wrong or good and evil. All his accusations thrown at me via ingame assets is his projection of his own psyche. He is a sick individual that needs professional help. If it's an AI, this is what they're using and calling as "weaponization". It'll backfire and has already backfired before. This guy is so brazen because he feels his work at Perfect World Entertainment, Beijing, immunizes him from any accountability. I have 3 printscreen images that prove the files are altered. An external hacker from another company won't modify the files in real-time. This was sent from perfect world's server. If you ingrates have a problem with me specifically or the 288 deal, why even allow me to buy your game and install it? Hypocrisy. Young fellow. It's alright. Peace.

This game is a total trainwreck in my opinion. I very rarely dislike a game so much, I almost always find something to appreciate about something i play. Here the only good thing is the cute pets and monsters and nothing else. The game is extremely outdated, it looks and plays like a mobile game at best. The combat and boss fights are just terrible, the characters build - progression ? The only word that can describe it is ABYSMAL. For all the time I wasted on this game I only hope to at least prevent someone from playing it.
T2 was better but this is ok
the spiritual successor to the asset store flip. if you're bored and wanna waste 5$, then sure; but if you're looking for more torchlight II, no. no, this isn't torchlight II, it's not really even torchlight. it's clearly a budget mobile game. it's certainly unpolished, not in the rough gem way but in that certain mythbusters episode way, and abandoned; all of which we should probably thank the greed of perfect world entertainment for. i did the beta for this, and it didn't advance at all, and it's a hallmark of uninspired corporatism where they shovel out a caricature of content out and call it product.
It’s just not as good as the first two. I put a ton of hours into Torchlight II on Steam, and even more time into Torchlight I back when I played it on PC. My son got me Torchlight III as a gift, and I was excited at first, but that wore off pretty fast. Ended up feeling really underwhelmed, which sucked because I was actually looking forward to it.
I honestly wish this wasn't a part of the torchlight series and just be its own thing because its not that bad but it feels so unfinished and there's so many features you didn't even add that the other games have. Everything good about Torchlight isn't in this game.
Worth it ONLY on heavy sale. If I bought this game at or even near the $40 price tag, I would be super grumpy. However, I picked it up at $8 -- a sale price point that happens often enough. And there's definitely $8 worth of fun here. But probably not much more.
Torchlight III is a massive disappointment for any fan of TL1 and TL2. The combat is not satisfying, the systems are shallow and watered down, the user interface is atrocious, and the level design is a massive downgrade in comparison to TL2. Many of the features are missing entirely (e.g. fishing). At its best, Torchlight 3 is a fun and colorful (if mindless) romp through mobs of enemies in the search of loot. At its worse, it's a premium game that feels like an empty, free-to-play MMO, and it becomes clear that the game has an identity crisis.
Unfinished slop. Sold out to the Chinese. Don't waste your money.
Some of the achievements are the grindiest of any of the 800 achievement-included games I have played. Long after you have finished all the material, you will be playing to reach them. The game is not nearly good enough to justify them.
