How you can call this a torchlight game is beyond me Its nothing like the First Two games and its a real disapointment
What a shame. Absolutely riddled with frustrating, inconsistent bugs that make playing it feel like a genuine chore. The world is samey, drab and uninspired, and the gameplay loop is horrendously tedious and repetitive. Whatever portions of any map you've discovered during your exploration is *reset* every time you close the game, forcing you to restart and re-navigate places you've already made it most of the way through. The game feels awkward to navigate and clunky to play. There are so many world bosses, none of them feel special, and they take an absolute age to defeat, only to drop meagre loot. It feels like very little thought went into the overall design of the game, and at worst almost feels intentionally painful and tiresome to play. Even playing this alongside a friend didn't make it fun enough to continue. Avoid at all costs.

NO MULTIPLAYER! Abandoned... not even couch CO-OP.... Nice game, but when it says "Online Co-op" you expect online co-op! So it's single-player only!
Easiest way to put it; Half Baked game. I've been playing this since beta and after release. They have not fixed and will not fix several bugs. It is sad to see a series I deeply loved growing up devolve to this. Tried playing it on stream for a Torchlight series and it would not stop bugging. I got stuck in scroll portal areas several times with no way out and had to relaunch the game and lose out on the items AND scroll. Pets disappear CONSTANTLY so you have to go back to base and swap. Merchants have ZERO purpose other than to sell things to and the gambling one which I don't recommend unless you are really hard up for something. Do not recommend, just go play the previous iterations instead with mods. Its more fun.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME. 1. I didn't care for the story. 2. The only way of getting new items is killing bosses and gambling. 3. While I liked the idea of customizing your own base, I don't think it belongs in torchlight. 4. The character designs in Torchlight 1 and 2 looked better than in Torchlight 3. 5. When you start a new game in Torchlight 2 you have more pets to choose from while in Torchlight 3 you can only choose 3. 6. This feels like mobile game. 7. Lifeless and Soulless
Temu torchlight 2 but still somehow better then new Diablo games
abandonware, play torchlight 2 if you want this game, this is not supported by the developers anymore lmao
If you've played Torchlight 1 and 2, this is not it. It's a much worse game on every single level. The atmosphere is not there, the soundtrack is generic and forgettable, the combat is awful, enemy variety is terrible, skills are not good, and worst of all: enemies are damage sponges. you'll be hacking at a boss for minutes on end without any real challenge, even on higher difficulties. Phase beast challenge? Remember those from TL2, where they were fun and very exciting to stumble upon? In TL3 you get more damage sponges, that's all the enemies do in this have, they have a lot of HP. Do yourself a favor and replay TL1 or 2 instead of this.
I forgot that this game existed for a while until I had some vietnam flashbacks. This game feels like a downgrade in every aspect compared to the first and second Torchlight games. Definitely one of the worst ARPGs I've ever played in my life. I wouldn't have been able to play as long as I did if I wasn't playing it with a friend. It is a boring, uninspiring, repetitive, shallow, soulless game. This was supposed to be a mobile game but was released here to cash in and try to get back some of the money they invested into it. Don't give them your money. Hell, don't even waste your time even if it was free. There are plenty of better ARPG alternatives out there.
piece of trash with an EULA slapping into it. because hey we can't make good games lets steal user data and call it a day. Torchlight 3 = Forgottenware.
