Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My favorite Tomb Raider. In this sequel, Lara embarks on a new adventure to find the Dagger of Xian, a legendary artifact that has the power of converting oneself into a powerful dragon, as long as they sacriface themselves with the dagger. The classic Lara's home is back as a tutorial, expanding it into outdoors area. The old gym is now a dance ballroom, and the infamous Winston, the butler locked in the freezer room is featured for the first time. It's a great tutorial for showing all the old and new moves. Now, Lara can climb ladders (slowly), use ziplines and flares for dark rooms. The ziplines are fun, but weirdly they are only included in the first level and one of the last ones. Flares are the biggest game change, since that means that now the game has dynamic lightning. They are not mandatory, but help a lot in the few cases where it's almost pitch black. Even better, the game adds two different vehicles for Lara. First you'll find the speedboat in the Venice levels, like Indiana Jones, you can destroy gondolas by jumping onto them. Much later you find the snowboard and its variant: the weaponized snowboard. Their maps are not that polished for driving them carelessly and it's easy to fall into pits and die. It's particularly fun to run over enemies killing them immediately. The game starts in China, just the first level is not an easy tutorial like you expected. It's filled with traps, high speed corridors, and a very unexpected secret near the end that is just peak. This time, Lara visits China, Venice, an oil rig, the bottom of the ocean, back to China and a weird surrealist place that it's unclear if it's real or not. There's also a neat post endgame level to wrap up the story. Most of the levels are just superb. Venice is accompanied by one of the best music compositions in the saga: the Venice violins. The underwater levels tend to drag a bit, but some sections are just perfect. You visit an upside-down ship, slowly moving from room to room solving puzzles and accessing new chambers. As most Tomb Raider games, the previous to last level is one of the biggest and hardest ones, and probably one of the best, just perfect level design. Once more, the weakest part is the combat. This time, there's just way too many human enemies. It's not terrible, you get an upgraded arsenal and you can beat most enemies with a couple of shots, as long as you are not using your default dual pistols. Bosses are just sponge bullets, with the final one being actually challenging and puzzly. Again, as with the previous game, just get the incredibly better Tomb Raider remastered trilogy. You'll also get access to the Tomb Raider 2 expansion as well as the very peculiar achievements.

Like a fat girl with asthma, this runs poorly.
good old fashioned rpg
Be sure to patch the game with Tomb Raider 2 Automated Fix. It will make the game run better on modern windows and add the excellent Golden Mask expansion. You can use Steam input to get the game working with your gamepad easily.
Personally I grew up with this game back on the playstation in the 90s, so it's been a fun time playing and discovering what I do and don't remember. Overall a really good game, the plot is a little confusing to follow at first but makes up for it with good levels, a very enjoyable adventure. This is an old port of course and has quite a few bugs, I had to play in windowed mode otherwise the game would crash after a minute or if I alt-tabbed out to respond to messages, and cutscenes played half-off screen. (overall, better than my experience with TR1 and it's bugs)
bad graphics. controls are poor.. cant even use a mouse
Ever since childhood, this is the only game I physically cannot play because how scary it is. The gameplay is fun and nostalgic but the atmosphere is terrifying. Frick this game. Couldn't recommend enough!!!!
Classic, brings back great memories. Enjoyed the game very much
难以想象以前的人如何能忍受这么恶心的游戏的
This game does not like modern hardware but my review is based on my experience playing long before Steam existed." This sequel to the previous game features some exotic locales and new abilities. The story isn't quite as good but there are some dynamics to the enemies that give it some new challenges. If you enjoyed the first one, this may not be quite at the same level but will certainly scratch the itch for more Lara Croft adventures. I recommend getting the newer enhanced version with updated graphics. You can still play that one with the old graphics but, more importantly, it will ACTUALLY RUN on modern equipment.
