Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a retelling of the very first Tomb Raider game, and this one has always caused a lot of discourse within the fandom. Personally, I've always really liked it. To me, this is a great version of the original adventure, and I think most of the changes they made work really well. Coming out after Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary was also part of that new direction for the franchise. It was meant to tie this new soft reboot back to Lara's established history, reintroducing her first adventure while showing how the new games could be intertwined with what came before. And I think they handled that really well. They changed things, obviously, but not to the point where it feels like they were trying to erase the original. The story feels a little more grounded and developed, the characters feel more fleshed out and less dated, and the whole thing felt incredibly modern at the time. Even now, I think it holds up really well. The gameplay is honestly amazing. Getting to revisit those locations from the first Tomb Raider, but seeing them completely rebuilt at a different scale and with different layouts, was such a great idea. You recognize places and moments from the original, but things have been changed enough that you can't simply rely on your memory. It makes the adventure feel familiar and unexpected at the same time. And having Lara with the grapple hook feels so good. The movement and exploration are such a natural evolution of what Legend established, and it makes these environments so much more fun to navigate. I also really love Croft Manor in this game. Compared to Legend, it's not finished yet, which is such a fun little callback to the original Tomb Raider. You have the boxes and crates sitting around the main hall, and they actually paid attention to those little details from the original game. I love when a remake or retelling does that, because it makes you feel like you're looking at the same place through a completely different lens. That's really what I love about Anniversary. It's not just trying to recreate Tomb Raider 1 exactly. It's taking that adventure and rebuilding it for a completely different era of Tomb Raider while keeping the heart of the original intact. There has always been this whole "classic purist" discussion surrounding Anniversary, and I understand why some people prefer the original exactly as it was. But I've never really subscribed to the idea that you have to choose one. You can enjoy both. I do. I love Tomb Raider 1, and I love Anniversary. They are different experiences, and I think that's perfectly fine. And that's also why I'm so curious about Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. In a way, Anniversary was created to connect the original Lara and her first adventure to the new direction of the franchise. Legacy of Atlantis is taking that idea so much further. The purpose of this game is to bring all of these different timelines together: Classic Lara, the Legend-era soft reboot, and the Survivor Trilogy, finally merging them into one Lara. We're finally getting to a point where all of these different versions of Lara are becoming one. And honestly, I'm really curious to see what's going to stay. What parts of Classic Lara are going to remain? What survives from the Legend era? What elements of the Survivor Trilogy become part of this unified version of Lara? Seeing how they take pieces from all three timelines and figure out what belongs to this one Lara is probably one of the things I'm most excited about. It's such a different situation from Anniversary. Anniversary was taking one classic adventure and rebuilding it to fit into a new timeline. Legacy of Atlantis is essentially taking Lara's entire history and trying to bring it together. I can't wait to see how they do it. For me, Anniversary has always been a great Tomb Raider game. I like it. I always have. It's a really good retelling of an iconic adventure, and I love seeing how it fits into Lara's story. And now, after all these years, I'm really excited to see where this idea of connecting Lara's different eras ultimately takes us.

This game is a bit junky to play for me since Lara keeps jumping somewhere i dont want her to and there are a few bugs since it is an older game. BUT. the story is amazing and its satisfying to do parkour in it so i highly recommend it!
For its release time its a very good game with pretty good puzzles and action
..
Basically impossible without a guide, which is no fun for me, so ill never play it again. Ridiculously overly convoluted level design. But its Lara with all her appeal.
One of my childhood games really fun recommend
One of my favorite adventure games of all time.
