Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I finished it, but I didn't enjoy it. Double Agent tries to build tension by making you play both sides of a terrorist conflict, but the "trust meter" mechanic feels tacked on and superficial. The level design is a mixed bag, daylight stealth missions sounded like a cool experiment on paper, but in practice, they take away the satisfying, pitch-black atmosphere that made the original trilogy iconic. The mechanics feel simplified and arcade-like compared to previous entries. The tension isn't derived from smart AI or tactical routing, but rather from clunky mechanics and forced, scripted sequences. It has a few cool ideas and some neat level concepts, but the execution is highly frustrating. Skip this one and save your sanity.

Espero haberles ayudado. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOLUTION TO THE "d3dx9_30.dll" ERROR. If you have already tried going to the Properties menu within the Steam interface and entering "-ll"—but that didn't work—and running the launcher as an administrator didn't help either, then you need to reinstall DirectX using the official link provided by Microsoft (which you can find by searching for "Reinstall DirectX" in your browser). That is the solution—or at least, it was what worked for me. I hope this helps.
A terrible port that ruins an alright game This has got to be the worst port of a game I've ever played. It is beyond broken. There are patches and fixes you can apply to the game but it will break either way. Here's a wall of complaints I have about the game: -- Too linear (reminds me of Pandora Tomorrow) -- The game just randomly crashes. -- You can accidentally delete your save by clicking 'Load' while in game, which also does nothing -- Goodluck rebinding the interaction key because its hardcoded to the spacebar -- Sometimes Sam just fell through stuff -- You will not be able to go into Vents or gaps unless Sam is walking at a medium pace -- Audio just stops in certain missions, I couldn't tell ya why -- The top layer of water in some missions is just a bunch of particle boxes -- On the boat mission where you plant the bomb, NPCs just walk into random objects and some doors have two doors on the same side -- Safe cracking is just the worst thing on PC On a positive note, the gameplay is fine, Its more Chaos Theory which is good. I find the trust mechanic cool since you can choose sides and make some big decisions but they give you too many objectives to keep both factions satisifed all the time. Even though the game was very linear in design, I actually liked the missions in this instalment, especially where you're sneaking around the JBA and finding intel. This is an alright game hiding behind a TERRIBLE PORT. I would honestly recommend people use the 360 emulator to play this game, at least then you get a proper functioning game...
not Chaos Theory, but still a very nice game
People were not kidding when they said this game was broken, it really is and it would crash a lot too. The highest resolution supported is 1200p and it looked worse than that, doesn't even support widescreen either
Buggy as f***, cant complete the final mission, because of freeze in cutscene. I had to reload Kinshasa mission several times to complete. Its a very bad version of a moderate game just played it cause of nostalgia. Can recommend to play chaos theory another time instead of this or play the ps2 version of double agent
Smh.
