I honestly have no idea why Grandpa thought this was worth leaving behind...
Still slaps in 2026.
Almost 14 years later and I still think about this game. 14 years and I haven’t come across a similar concept. It’s properly unique. Also the soundtrack is fantastic. :-)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Getting 100% was enjoyable in this physics puzzle indie game. approximate amount of time to 100%: 10-20h ~ Estimated achievement difficulty: 4-5/10 (The no-death ones are the hardest) Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 x 5 maps (level select available) Multiplayer achievements: No Multiplayer. Missable achievements: No. (level select helps) Grinding Achievements: A bit. (1000 rockets and 1000 rocks) DLC-Only achievements: No. Time-gated achievements: No. Speed-run achievements: No. RNG-achievements: No. Does difficulty affect achievements: No choice. Unobtainable/glitched achievements: No. First achievement unlock: Finish the tutorial, 5 minutes. Is there a good guide: I used the ones on youtube by NEXGENEEZY. Notes: * The physics are simulated every time so you might get different outcomes * the collectible stones are affected by the particles so you will lose a bunch just due to physics, follow a guide. * If you press "O" to reload the checkpoint it DOES NOT count as a death. Feel free to use it. * I completed all the achievements and was left with 400 rockets to fire and 400 stones to collect. (i understand the rockets but you have "all stones in each level" achievements. Why 1000 Rocks in total? * Game costs just half-of-a-Silksong and often goes on 80% sale. Actually well made, and the achievements (with minor exceptions) are well designed and keep you going while rewarding skill. Recommended.
laser
Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers is a fascinatingly bizarre cel-shaded 3D platformer with physics sandbox mechanics that still stands unique in this day and age but modern expectations may take a bit of the shine away. Tiny, the main protagonist, still jumps and moves like in any indie platformer but the levels' massive scale leaves you cutting ramps into platforms or befalling pillars to cross massive gaps instead. It's an interesting concept and they certainly equip you for the industrial task, be it the cutting laser, grappling lasso, and / or rocket boosters. There's an absolute freedom too to cut through nearly everything in a level leaving no definite "right way" to reach the end, but it also means you may just also cut through the very bridge that would've saved you a lot of trouble. Along with the cool sketchy cel-shaded style and unusual story of magical pants, this would be an easy "hey, this is a pretty cool game" but I do think the slower and more methodical nature of the mechanics may dampen the incredibly fast-paced expectation in games nowadays.
simply awesome
I Cant believe I never saw it until now, this is truly just a unique and creative. Games with this type of creativity are few and far between these days. I wish there was a sequel or more to this game. The game play feels like the first time playing with the gravity gun in Half Life 2, just utter fun that put a smile on my face. Tiny & Big is just worth the money for a game design alone. I have never seen gameplay like this replicated else where. Heres to hoping for a sequel in the future.
Sinceramente, não faço ideia de por que o vovô achou que valia a pena deixar isso para trás...
English ==================================================================================== A classic niche indie game and one of my all-time favorites. Short, simple, fun, very affordable, and you can finish it in no time. It has a rather impressive physics engine for its time, cel-shaded art, a pretty experimental soundtrack, and tons of charisma (I bought it a second time just to get the OST). Highly recommended; it's one of those games that you can tell was made with love. I would have loved a sequel.
