This game is such a treat for people into Witcher lore, especially fans of the books. It also uses Gwent for combat in a way that is truer to the Gwent version played in Witcher 3 and I wish that the spin-off Gwent game played more like this game. The card battler combat is satisfying, the art style is beautiful and unique and I loved most of the companion characters (some of which you may recognize if you read the books!) Overall, an incredible game that is a worthy entry in The Witcher games catalog and the amount of hours I got out of it compared to the price is genuinely impressive.

For the price, surprisingly good! Love the story, love the puzzles and gwent battles.
+ Great game, great fun, get rewards for Gwent too, but too bad Gwent has been abandoned, one of the best card games ever
I really enjoyed this game. Awesome story with meaning full decisions and good gameplay. Coming from Witcher 3 the new Gwent rules need some getting used to, but the new mechanics are a good and needed addition to make is work in a standalone game. The puzzles are a very nice addition and help the game not getting stale and introduce you to new cards. This combined with the different enemy factions and the progression system help you change up your deck and keep you from just playing the same game every single round. I loved how the story portrayed medival feudal politics and guerrilla warfare. This combined with very good writing and voice acting created a campaign which I really enjoyed. The story doesn't rely on the other works in the universe of The Witcher and instead creates a story which can be enjoyed without having played the other games or read the books.
