Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.33/day in the week to Aug 5 → 10.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game has really good potential and I had very high hopes but it really lacks content... 25€ for 5hr max gameplay is too expensive and you can not say these 5hr are full of high pace excitements... When the game ended, I thought it was only the introduction to finally start a more intense story / gameplay ... Sadly, a game that I will forget fast and never open again...

I loved just about every second I spent playing this game (with a small exception that will be detailed later in the review). I don't know how true to life it is to actually living in Montreal in 1958, but it certainly *felt* convincing - from the costumes to the dialogue to the environmental elements such as the pamphlets, newspapers, novels, etc. to the society around the characters, This Bed We Made delivered on just about everything I could have hoped for. It also wears its heart on its sleeve - this is not a game that is shy about what it is saying or what it is doing, and I appreciate its sincerity. To be clear, this is a politically-conscious game that deals frankly with issues such as mental health stigma and homophobia in period-accurate ways. It's also a pretty fun little detective game that had enough twists and turns in its short duration to keep me on my toes, never knowing where we were going next. It is, in short, excellent. In the interest of giving a better overall picture, I should observe some of the weaker aspects, as well, so here we go: the animations for the characters are a bit wooden, with the facial animations in particular not being overly compelling; the short duration of the story (taking place almost entirely in the space of a few hours) means that some emotional developments feel a bit rushed and one moment in particular feels like it comes at a bizarre time; and I would say that the initial plot hook does ultimately feel like a bit of a red herring, though I don't know if I even really mind that much. Honestly, none of these are serious issues, and for such a small team with the specific project that This Bed We Made is, I personally wouldn't hold them against it - the right priorities were chosen, in my opinion. Conversely, I really do want to shout out the writing and performances in this game - if the animations are a little lacklustre, the script and delivery more than make up for it, and the scenario we play out is compelling and well-presented. The storytelling done by the clue-gathering of Sophie is compelling and distributed well to ensure the attentive player pieces together the story in a way that keeps attention masterfully. Now, there was a bit of time I spent with This Bed We Made that was a bit tedious, but I cannot really blame the game itself too badly. Without getting into spoiler territory, there are some choices that have to be made towards the end of the game, and it seems like it might be possible to get an ending where you can have everything you would want, but in practice it does not appear that this is the case. This would not really be a problem, as it is narratively compelling and thematically consistent to be this way, but two different guides I found really seemed to suggest that such a "good end" was possible, which kept me hunting for it for *way* too long. I perhaps would have liked it if the game had some in-game method of tracking what you have done across playthroughts/endings that showed you what outcomes were obtainable, but honestly this problem mostly existed for me because I trusted the apparent lies I was being fed. If I am wrong and this best ending is possible but I somehow couldn't stop messing it up, I retract this part of the review, but I spent almost three hours trying to achieve the perfect outcome without success. With all that said, I loved this game. 9.5/10
Honestly, not a bad cozy casual Nancy Drew type detective game. I enjoyed it, even with the funny cringe and super UE5 charators, but it was well done gameplay-wise. I like that you can have multiple outcomes, but not being able to skip cutscenes and speed up dialogue would make it a slog to start from the beginning. Luckily, there are autosaves every few minutes and you can manually save whenever you want. However, the ending was so abrupt and left so many loose ends. The hotel, the psych ward, the janitor, the hotel staff relationships and affairs, what happens to the other charators you don't choose as your confidant throughout the game, the VIP guest....There could have been SO much more, and the final endings they show via artwork at the end are kind of a let-down since there is no explanation or dialogue, just the simple photo they assume you'll understand. All in all, a decent indie mystery to play through if you want a simple and quick story to dive into with relatively short playtime. (Definitely wait for a discount). This Bed We Made começa bem e consegue criar uma atmosfera que dá vontade de continuar.
It's a pretty cute game, the setting and atmosphere of the game was phenomenal!! But the game gets a little on the nose preachy at the end getting rid of any subtlety that did exist. Furthermore they say each action has consequences but in my two playthroughs I don't really notice anything big. If you like these types of games I would buy it but only when on sale cuz the game is extremely short especially for the price!
very gay which is not in the description. I LOVE IT!! very authentic and real, the multiple endings really make it come alive.

This Bed We Made has a great atmosphere and a really interesting 1950s hotel setting. Exploring rooms, looking for clues, and slowly uncovering the guests’ secrets is probably the strongest part of the game. The visual style and overall presentation also fit the mystery theme very well. However, the gameplay can feel quite limited and repetitive after a while. Some choices seem more important than they actually are, and the mystery itself isn’t as deep or complex as I expected. The pacing can also be a little slow in certain sections. Overall, it’s a decent narrative mystery game with a unique setting and enjoyable investigation mechanics, but it could have used more depth and stronger consequences for your choices.
