I wanna say that I found the first and last episode fun to play, enjoyed characters like Javier, Conrad and our Clementine, and I found her little arc through the story very interesting. That aside, I found myself mostly bored and slightly frustrated while playing through it. Half or episode 2 to episode 4 go by so slowly, and while there is a plot progressing, it just felt very dull for me. I didn't feel any genuine concern or excitement for what was gonna happen until the final showdown, which is a big time investment, along with how tediously your autonomy doesn't matter. Kate gets forced upon you no matter how thoroughly you turn her down, Gabe takes one step forward and two steps back at every chance of development, and so many characters get abandoned or killed off without any impact to the plot. It just feels like a lot of things happen for naught, and your involvement is optional. All in all, it's not at all terrible, but it doesn't feel like a very nuanced or player-choice-based story, or one I'd consider going through again. The ending was very enjoyable, though.
