For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played Surge way back when it relesed and it was my first game in this genre. It still holds up good and it is deserving of giving it a go.
The Surge is one of those games where I can clearly see the vision, but I feel like it never completely reaches it. I actually really like some of the ideas here. The exoskeleton setting, targeting specific body parts, cutting off enemy equipment and using it yourself are genuinely cool concepts, and they give the combat its own identity compared to other Soulslike games. The problem is that the game sometimes feels like it has great ideas without the polish to make them as good as they could be. The combat can be satisfying, especially when you start understanding the limb system and building your equipment around it, but it can also feel a bit clunky and repetitive. The world and level design have some good moments too, but I never felt as connected to the environment as I did with the best Souls games. There's definitely an interesting world here, but it doesn't always do enough with it. I also think the game struggles with balance and progression. Some mechanics are genuinely fun once you understand them, but getting there can take some patience, and certain enemies or encounters can feel more annoying than challenging. Still, I don't think The Surge is a bad game at all. Quite the opposite: I think it's a game with a lot of potential that wasn't fully realized. You can see the developers had some really good ideas and were trying to create something different rather than simply making another Dark Souls clone. It just needed a little more polish, better balancing, and a few more things to make those ideas really shine. Not a bad Soulslike at all, and definitely worth trying if you like the genre. I just wish it had been given that extra push, because the vision was definitely there.
Souls game with mecha version
Good story and well balanced gameplay mechanics. Being able to change equipment for different playstyles is a plus as well.
