Ich hab leider gleich ein gamebreaking Bug bei einem der ersten Bosskämpfe. Der Boss erscheint einfach nicht in dem Raum. Ich habe schon einiges ausprobiert, aber leider passiert da nichts :(
A bit different when compared to the first game, still amazing and and I'm enjoying every single minute playing it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

В целом игра не плохая и по сравнению с первой частью есть значительные отличия по механике боя и управления персонажем.
ta bueno !
TLDR : The Surge 2 is a very enjoyable sequel and a clear improvement over the original. It has imo a better level design, more interesting exploration, more varied enemies, more flexible combat, better technical performance, and a more lively world. Its biggest weaknesses are probably its somewhat bland and generic visual and auditive presentation and its relatively low difficulty for a soulslike, especially when it comes to the bosses. But neither issue was enough to stop me from having a blast with the game. I went in expecting a more polished version of the first game, and that's pretty much exactly what I got. It's not the most ambitious soulslike out there, but it's a fun, satisfying game that does a lot of things right. I’d recommend this game without hesitation, especially when you know it often goes on sales for like 3 bucks!
Technical & Visuals
On the technical side, The Surge 2 is a big step up from its predecessor. The game runs much better out of the box, and you don’t have to tweak with the files of the game or install third-party tools just to get a high-refresh-rate experience. You can also adjust the FOV like in the first game, which is a great option to have imo. Visually, the game is decent, although I wouldn’t say it’s particularly impressive. The weapon and armor designs and variety are once again a highlight and on par with the first game meaning pretty good. The environments are much more varied this time around, but they still feel somewhat generic tbh. The overall level of detail isn’t amazing (lots a cube buildings which rest on some flat untextured ground), and I’m not particularly fond of the art direction either (why an octopus in the middle of the city?). There’s a strange filter over the whole game that makes many areas look a bit bland and washed out. That said, the character and enemy animations are great, and overall I’d still consider it a visual improvement over the first game with the added variety. The main thing that feels like a downgrade to me is the loss of that enormous industrial-factory atmosphere that the original did really well and that gave it a particular unique flavor.
Level Design & Exploration
To expand my thought on the environments, while they look a little generic and can still feel a little labyrinthine at times, there diversity allows for, imo, even better level design than in the first game. The areas have interconnections everywhere, shortcuts, hidden paths and loot. All that makes exploration genuinely rewarding and gratifying. And the improved enemy variety also makes exploring feel less repetitive. The Metroidvania elements have been expanded as well where you will gradually unlock the ability to access areas previously locked to you. Once such "ability" being the hook that lets you travel along ziplines which is really cool. The world itself also feels considerably more alive. There are more NPCs, more things happening in the background, and the areas will change dramatically as you progress through the story. It gives a nice sense of progression and adds even more diversity.
Music and Sound Design
The soundtrack is once again fairly serviceable. There are a few genuinely good boss themes and the main theme is pretty nice, but overall the music didn't particularly stand out to me. The sound design is pretty good though!
Gameplay
Gameplay wise, The Surge 2 feels like a more polished version of the first game. It's even more dynamic and the energy bar has even more importance. Indeed, energy is essential for healing, severing enemy limbs, and using certain abilities, so managing it becomes a much more integral part of the combat. I also really like the removal of the affinity system from the first game. Without it, you're free to experiment much more easily with the game's nine weapon types. Each type having its own moveset, and there are also unique weapons within those categories that add even more variety. And they pretty much all feel great to use. I went for heavy weapon type in the first Surge, but for this one I mainly used staves in the early part of the game and then switched to punching gloves, both of which are much faster weapon types. I ended up having an absolute blast with them. The new parry system is another nice addition imo. I like the "high risk, high reward" aspect of it and it gives you another way to deal with certain enemies. It can admittedly trivialize some encounters, but sometimes said encounter is annoying to deal with otherwise (bag of HP) so not always a bad thing. Enemy placement is also much better than in the first game. Encounters generally feel less frustrating while still providing a decent challenge, which makes simply moving through the world more enjoyable.
Difficulty
One of my biggest complaint with the game is probably its difficulty, I think the game is a little too easy, especially the bosses. They are, once again, a clear improvement over the first game imo, especially in terms of variety and presentation. There are some much more memorable encounters and the overall spectacle is better. But I first tried way too many bosses and the worst was maybe 5 or 6 tries. Which is not enough to really appreciate their patterns and is just "not enough" for a souls game imo.
Story & Length
The story is still primarily told through audiologs and NPC dialogue, but I found it just as engaging as, if not a little more than, the first opus. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but I thought it worked fine. It’s good enough to keep the story moving. As for the length, a first playthrough will take roughly 20 hours, depending on how much side content you choose to tackle. It's a decent amount of content, especially for the price. The pacing is also solid, and the game doesn't overstays its welcome. Thanks for reading!

Worst thing i played Yuck
This game is ruinously hard. The first two bosses you meat are unbelievably hard to beat. Well the first one was sort of hard, but the second one can kill you in one or two hits, and you can't even see his health meter fall with one hit. Then he has a remote that flies off and shots you and take at least 1/4 to 1/2 health per shot. Then if that was not bad enough he shots multiple inferno grenades at you. There is a health field on the ground that spawns randomly if you stand in it, well you die cause you can't stand still anywhere still, but ideally it heals you. You can pick it up for one big heal before he kills you, but then no healing field remains. It should not be this hard in the beginning. I know someone will read this and say, "I beat him in two seconds" Good for you, The game sucks and buying it for just a few dollars was too much.
