This game could be awesome, but unfortunately it starts off by pitting you against some douchebag in a suit of power armor while you're wearing a ffkin' hospital gown, and it just tells you to aim for his head... which is damn near impossible since your character doesn't aim for his head, and instead he just flails at the guy any way he can, even if you do as the tutorial states. Mildly frustrating after 10+ attempts, and not worth the effort...
I wish this series got more love. While I liked the setting and atmosphere of the original Surge more overall, the Surge 2 adds character customization, new weapon classes, and bosses with far better mechanics than the first game. The dlc is also great. I never get tired of the limb severing animations in these games and the Surge 2 has even more.

This game crashed my system 4 times while trying all fixes provided by Developer and Steam Support. Not recommened at all. I mean crashing is one thing but getting Blue Screen error and crashing the whole OS is another. No wonder why it got so many negative reviews. Until or unless it getting some patches post 2026 do not buy this in Bundle. Surge 1 is great must buy though
its an ok game I'm not into the fighting style or the respawning of the game not my type of game battery life for the steam deck is good graphics are good and detailed no issues playing the game I'm just not into this game i don't really recommend it
