The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice. The game will end, the game will never end.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The game is good, but not worth 15€, only get it on sale 1: I had many crashes due to having "too many cpu cores" (aka more than 1) 2: The shadows will glitch out on every "loop", which luckily gets fixed by tabbing out and back in 3: The resolution doesnt support my monitor type, making it actually look like it was on an old pc like the ones shown inside the game. Idk if thats intentional but it looks bad. 4: Allthough there are many choices you can make to progress the story in different routes, as with all of these games, there werent enough of them to feel like my personal choice actually mattered. Its a repeated coin toss, go left or go right, obey or disobey. You do that like 5 times per "loop" and get a diferent ending. After doing some loops and ending up in "heaven" i resorted to googling the routes and found out that most of the things arent actually spawned in yet for me. Its not about "choices" at all. Its about progressing down a spiral, not a loop. For example i dont have a bucket, i dont have figures, there is no window for me to climb through etc, and without all of those my options are actually very limited.

"This is the story of a man named Stanley. Stanley worked for a company in a big building where he was Employee Number 427. Employee Number 427’s job was simple: he sat at his desk in Room 427 and he pushed buttons on a keyboard. Orders came to him through a monitor on his desk, telling him what buttons to push, how long to push them, and in what order. This is what Employee 427 did every day of every month of every year, and although others might have considered it soul-crushing, Stanley relished every moment that the monitors came to life, as though he had been made exactly for this job. And Stanley was happy. And then one day, something very peculiar happened. Something that would forever change Stanley; something he would never quite forget. He had been at his desk for nearly an hour when he realized that not one single order had arrived on the monitor for him to follow. No one had showed up to give him instructions, call a meeting, or even say 'hi.' Never in all his years at the company had this happened, this complete isolation. Something was very clearly wrong. Shocked, frozen solid, Stanley found himself unable to move for the longest time. But as he came to his wits and regained his senses, he got up from his desk and stepped out of his office."
This games is delightfully bonkers. I have never been happier to spend hours walking through the same hallways.
If you like liminal spaces and a good laugh, this is the game for you!
Ein cleveres Spiel zum drüber nachdenken.

This is a story about a man named Stanley.
Hay un logro que literalmente te dice que salgas a tocar pasto y no abras el juego por 5 años. 10/10 Si no lo tienes, compra la versión Deluxe en su lugar.
good
The narrator called me "fat and ugly and really, really stupid" for standing in the broom closet for too long. 10/10 experience
