Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.14/day in the week to Aug 19 → 24.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The year is 1998. A private jet belonging to the Roottree Corporation has crashed. On it were the Roottree Sisters and their parents. Combined, they were worth over a billion dollars.
Now, due to the eccentricities of their great-great-grandfather Elias, their money must be redistributed to the rest of the family. But who's actually a BLOOD RELATIVE? That's where you come in.
Armed only with the power of your mighty dial-up modem, you'll scour for photos, books, articles and other evidence. Then, you'll make connections and deductions based on the family relationships you uncover. With every spot on the tree you fill in correctly, the names and photos left in your possession will have fewer and fewer places to go — but the evidence will also be harder and more obscure to find.
Can you put together the final pieces of the puzzle?

A 3D living-room perspective that ties together all the unique puzzle systems
An enhanced user interface with many quality of life improvements to make your mystery solving easier to use and more intuitive
Remastered music and sound effects, with fully voiced cinematics.
A handful of Easter eggs and little touches for those who can't get enough of the late ‘90s charm

Reviews
One of my favourtie game styles. Not too easy that you get bored or get through it too quickly. Not too difficult that you don't just want to give up. Easy to pick up where you left off.
Good concept, excellent gameplay, poor assets in art and voice, terrible "twist". You can certainly tell this product came out of 2020s North America. Thumbs up for the deductive gameplay, it's some of the best there is.

I loved it
i love this game my bf bought me it
Legitimately one of the best detective games I've ever played. You're a private investigator, hired to fill out the family tree of a famous, family-owned candy company that's in the middle of an inheritance dispute. You do so entirely from your computer desk, searching for articles and publishings and piecing together the drama behind the family bit by painstaking bit. The game does NOT hold your hand, which is both a blessing and a curse - it truly feels like you're the one putting together the puzzle pieces yourself; I never felt pushed in a direction or had my intelligence disrespected like some "mystery" games out there. But it also expects you to be able to deduce the story - and its major plot twists - entirely on your own, and there were certainly times where the game thought I should know something that a new piece of evidence was telling me, but I was actually still in the dark. Still, I only got hard-stuck once, and was able to pull myself out of it. Make good use of the in-game notebook function, which allows you to save clippings and highlight important bits, and you'll be fine. Very similar to Return of the Obra Dinn when it comes to piecing together identities, but with far less obscure deductions required. Every connection and piece of evidence both feels like it truly belongs in the world of the game, and makes coherent sense, which is one of the highest praises I can bestow on a detective puzzler.
完美地满足了one night i was bored in bed, and stalk u on the internet的欲望。
